Just did my second off roadeo in New Hampshire. Different terrain than TN. There was more rock navigation involved. Goldie was my trail guide and she did a great job guiding. Small world this is. Got to talk with Steve the director again. I actually met him Tennessee. Terry from TN was there guiding, and a guy that lives an hour and a half from me was there. Two different terrain types but both were learning experiences. I wish I could do the others. If you haven't gone your missing out.

I think New England has the most challenging terrain.
But I plan to field test the thesis much more extensively.

I was the lead driver with Goldie on Saturday, May 24, 2025. What a great day! Learned a lot, had a lot of fun. Goldie and Evan (guides) were outstanding. They challenged the experienced wheelers, while being very patient with first timers. The day was perfect, on/off rain kept the trails nice and muddy. The mosquitoes were out in full force, but our hosts had plenty of bug spray to share. I highly recommend the New Hampshire Off-Rodeo!

The Steel Hill resort, suggested by the program, was a bit run-down in my opinion. We satyed in the lower lodge section.... I was expecting a classier joint. Food was OK, but I will eat anything.. greasy spoon to a Michelin 5*, definetly not a foodie!
