We are scheduled to be at the Tennessee Off-Roadeo on the 14th of November.
The weather is forecasting rain for several days' prior, as well as rain for the 14th.

Any tips on attending the Off-Roadeo in the rain?
We are packing rain gear and waterproof hiking boots, as well as extra clothes.
I ask those who attended a rain event if there anything you wished I would have brought?
We don't getting muddy, but any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks...!!!

Rained on the day I attended as well.

I just brought my rain jacket and my Gore-Tex (water resistant) trail running shows. Basically the same thing I'd wear while camping/hiking in the rain. Nothing crazy.

Typing that gave me flashbacks to my mother yelling at me for not bring an extra set of dry clothing on hikes. But... I'm one of those weird people that greatly prefers winters over summers, and doesn't mind being a little cold/wet. Way better than being hot and uncomfortable.

Yeah, wheeling in the wet's probably an upgrade for your off-roadeo experience - Go with it and have FUN!!

Sure, rain gear will be more comfy, letting you get yourself out to see the obstacles, better understand suggested lines 'n tire placement and witness how the spotter works the trails. OR's Seattle Rain Hat has been a fav here for years. Am assuming they'll have an awning for group gropes, lunch, etc.

Oh, gotta add that you should be VERY thankful you're ride's a Bronco Off-Roadeo Bronco - They'll get to wash it after you've had fun all day!!

Cheers

You might want to throw some hand warmers in your pockets. I did New Hampshire in the rain on a colder day, and they would have been nice! I hope you have a great time, no matter the weather.

Just remember you'll be in the Tennessee Valley, you may have fall, maybe winter, and a quick shot of summer all in the same 24 hrs. Rain, sleet, snow, and beautiful blue sunny skies are optional as well.

And a few have claimed GPS is a bit off. Stay on the main road until you see this sign and gate!!

Well............. the rain was definitely a factor.
It had rained most of the night before then held an off/on mist upon arrival. We were glad it was not the 4 hours of rain predicted a week ago.

Chris must have logged 20,000+ steps as spotter, and he really knew what he was doing as a spotter...!!!

The rain kept our group away from some good hill climbs since we were the last group; the prior groups had muddied up the hill and we were left with no traction.

Chris however came through with other great trails and even got us on a new trail heading back to homebase. This new trail had never been driven by a guest group before, and we did it in the darkness. It was by far the most technical trail we did, and the most narrow trail we did all day.
GREAT JOB CHRIS.....!!!!!!!!

Interior pictures and videos do not do the experience justice.
In this photo, my right rear was several feet of the ground while traversing a ditch... it looks quite tame in the photo!

You'll probably have Badlands and Wild Tracks, so there's a good chance you'll have heated steering wheels.
Go ahead, and get muddy. You'll be learning and training on more difficult obstacles, you'll be better prepared for obstacles when you're on your own.
And you don't have to clean the trucks!
