Choosing Off-Roadeo in Moab or Nevada, advice needed

I'd like to enroll myself for one of the Off-Roadeos in late spring or early summer, either the Nevada or the Moab event. It is my intention to combine the Off-Roadeo with two or three weeks of off roading, mountain biking and fly fishing across Nevada and Idaho, so either Off-Roadeo will be en route from my home in Tennessee.

Though I know I'll be using the event's vehicles at the Off-Roadeo, I'm hoping to have my Bronco by then (build week March 13) to enjoy for the remainder of the trip. I have a few questions - your answers will help guide my decisions. Thanks in advance for your help.

1. Can anyone tell me how quickly the Off-Roadeo events fill up? I'm hesitant to schedule the event until I have my own personal Bronco.
2. Is there a clear preference between locations? I'm fond of both Moab and Nevada.
3. If I were to go ahead and schedule an Off-Roadeo and it looks like my Bronco will not arrive on time, can I reschedule the event?

Let me take a stab at this-
1)- I think they fill up a couple months out, but I would go ahead and get it on the books to be sure. There is generally much more availability in the middle of the week than on a weekend (I did it on a Thursday)
2)- Couple schools of thought on this. Moab is ground zero for off roading, but the trail network is public, and the accomidations are more limited. Nevada is on a private piece of land, and there are no shortage of hotels down the road in Vegas. We did Nevada and had a great experience, but really I havent heard of anyone having a bad time at any of them.
3)- Its hard to move dates around once they are booked. I was able to, with a call to the hotline for the off-rodeo, but thats because it was really early on and flights got cancelled by the airlines.

Dont let the Bronco arrival determine your dates- You wont be driving your vehicle on the course, you will be driving Fords. I went to the Off-Rodeo a year and a half before my truck showed up. It was like the second time I had actually seen one a Gen 6 Bronco up close.

I agree with Mal. Don't let your own Bronco slow you down.

We went to Moab. It was amazing. Plenty to do outside of the Off-Rodeo too.

I did Moab, and it was great. For what you are planning (doing your own off roading, and biking, et)c, Moab can’t be beat. I could have stayed for weeks.
While I was there (after the off roadeo), I took a couple jeeps out to Hells revenge, Fins and Things and a few other trails, and it was a blast. Now that I have the Bronco, I’m scheming for a return trip to see how it does out there.

The hiking and biking and trails are insane in Moab.
Places to stay… meh. Ok. Expensive.

Finding a drink is easier in Nevada, though.
