Has anyone done any of the Bring Your Own Bronco events?

https://bringyourownbronco.com

Did you do recovery? Or off road?

If in Moab, was the trail the same as the OffRoadeo trails?

And any comments about how the BYOB might compare to the "Half-day Adventure" besides the obvious part where they provide the Bronco in the Half-Day version? (Apparently renting a Bronco for off road use is about $275.) https://broncodrives.com/#about

Hi there! I spoke to our friends at Bronco Off-Roadeo to get some extra details for you about the Bring Your Own Bronco events (which begin on July 10, so this is a new option for everyone!).

For the Off-Road Advanced Recovery experience, you will do real recovery scenarios. There is some trail driving, but the focus of these immersive classes is on specific recovery skills and less on trail driving. For example, in Moab you will have some trail driving to get to the locations to the scenarios. So it is a mix of driving and skill building activities.

You asked about the trails being the same as Off-Roadeo in Moab. For the Next Level Off-Road experience, there will be different trails. The exact trail selections will be based around weather and vehicle types. This program uses skills gained at Bronco Off-Roadeo, but takes a deeper dive into top-requested topics like line selection, spotting, and more.

As far as a comparison between the Half-Day Adventure and Bring Your Own Bronco:
• The Half-Day Adventure is a great trail drive experience fun for owner AND non-Bronco owners alike.
• The Bring Your Own Bronco program is an EXCLUSIVE skill-building opportunity for Bronco owners only.

You can learn more about each adventure here https://bringyourownbronco.com/. Hope this helps! :-)

We did one of the Pilot BYOB events (the second one actually) at Merus Adventure Park back in May of 2023. it was an all day event and we did discuss some recovery, kinda basics but good information. it was very comparable to the off roadeo just you were in your own vehicle and in a new location. The guides were very helpful and informative and we asked many questions. they provided radios and we split up into two groups of about a dozen broncos each. They were cool that the wife and I switch out driving duties half way through the day. I assume this was only for the Pilot events, but there were several big wigs from Ford at the event, one of them was surprised to see an Everglades at the event and we had a long conversation about that trim and what we thought about it during our lunch break. He did mention that there were less than 800 Everglades at that time and only a small number were Desert Sand.
Bronco Nation 1100. Everglades, Desert Sand
