Bronco Nation exists to make owning a Bronco easier and more enjoyable. Part of that mission includes bringing the community together in person and online. And to do that that better, we needed a new Bronco Nation website.

On Monday morning, you’ll be able to see what our team has been working on for many months: a new version of theBroncoNation.com.

While the look of the site will be slightly different, the features you like will be staying –– and we’re even adding some new ones. What you see next week will be the start of even more to come.

You’re going to experience:
  • A better Member Map, our members-only feature that shows you Bronco communities, trails, campsites, and more all over the country.
  • An easier Events page. We’ve simplified down the steps and added a regional search. You’ll spend less time finding events to attend and creating your own.
  • A much friendlier mobile visit. The majority of you use Bronco Nation on your phone, and we’ve set up the site to be easier to browse and navigate. One thing to note: The Bronco Nation app will be ending. App users, we’d like to welcome you to the site. We’ve kept you in mind since the beginning of this process and went with a mobile-first setup.
  • Better search function across the forums and news articles. We know it hasn’t been great. Now you’ll have an easier time finding information you need.
  • A member dashboard of all your benefits. You’re going to have an easier time finding your member number, seeing what’s available with your membership, and locating partner codes.
We’ll Help You Through the Changes

While plenty of the changes are behind-the-scenes performance or in appearance-only, there are going to be some differences, especially surrounding your individual habits and patterns on BN. These may take getting used to.

Ask us any questions. Give us feedback because we will be doing continued improvements. Tag us here in the forums –– @Laura, @MattR, @London, and @jparker. Your team at Bronco Nation is here to help. This includes our moderators @SlashRacer, @Deano Bronc, and @TK1215, who deserve a special callout and round of applause for helping us get this site shaped up. Mike, Dean, and Tim have dedicated hours upon hours on the new site and with us on the phone, and their work was vital to making this as seamless as an experience for you as possible. Another massive thanks goes to our support teammates of Chris and Nick; we couldn't have done the tech or stayed on track without them.

Things to Note
  • Forum pause: Right now, we are on track to launch the site on Monday morning. This means the forums will pause at 5 p.m. ET this Friday. You can search for answers and read all you want, but you won't be able to post new threads or reply. We'll be posting a top banner across the forums soon to remind you. All our social sites will be up and running, so if you need a question answered, ask us on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Login: When you come back to Bronco Nation on Monday, you will need to log in again. If you know your password or have it saved on your device, this should be simple. If you need to reset it, we've tested the reset button, and it works. If you have any trouble, contact us at [email protected].
  • Having issues? If you find bugs or are having any issues at all, drop them here or DM me or @MattR. I will be showing off where some of the new features and adjustments are early Monday morning in this thread.
  • Reminder: The Bronco Nation app will be ending. We're still finding out if that's going to be a hard stop or if it will just stop updating. I'll let you know once we know.
We love our community here and can’t wait to make it even easier for all of us to connect around the vehicle we’re passionate about!

Lots of good work going on here. So we can still select to watch a thread but then no way to select the threads that we selected.
I noticed the header fonts were different between the Home and Gear sites. By header I mean the Home/Forums/Shop etc bar.
I'll get an update on timing for watched threads tomorrow. And yes, good eye, the Gear store is on a separate platform, and the "main site" header on that page is showing up in Times New Roman. That needs to be touched up.

@Laura, thanks for doing a GREAT job fielding the questions and compiling the recommendations. Sure, there will be growing pains, but I'm confident the team will rise to meet the challenge. The Bronco Nation community is proud to call this home!
We'll keep going as far as we can as soon as we can! like many of you, I don't like change at first either, but once I start understanding what's going on/why something's going on, I can adjust. We want to make sure as many people who have enjoyed BN for some time still enjoy it. Game plan after we take care of the forums is to touch up the articles and then dial up features on the member map. Then we're on to some brand new things!

I can't imagine what a (long) day it has been going live with the new site launch. You can already tell this is well on the way to a much better user experience. Hats off to the entire Bronco Nation team and all those in support (@Laura, @MattR, @London, @jparker, @SlashRacer, @Deano Bronc, @TK1215, and more)!

I have already "trashed" the mobile app and am enjoying the responsive web version much more. I love how the original post stays at the top of each page (the little things). Look forward to a dark mode and all the other improvements that are incoming based on feedback and BN Team research.

The community and team here at Bronco Nation are incredible. Huge kudos to everyone involved in the making of this community and network - for creating such a unique and positive environment and bringing together a such a large group of passionate and like-minded folks; for all the membership benefits and discounts; the awesome swag and gear; all the news content, research, and sharing; the events, calendar, and other site features; and just helping to drive the comeback, fun, and adventures of these incredible machines.

Well done, thank you, and cheers ?

@Laura I teased it on Thursday and I am back to do the reveal. I officially am now a proud Bronco Badlands owner! Still getting used to it and learning all the ins and outs. Much like the updated website. May take me a while but will enjoy the journey.

So,
Im back on the site. Thanks for the efforts put in
Is it me or is the performance somewhat lack luster?
In the old forum, I would click on a topic, and it would pop right up
In the new forum, I click on a topic, and I have to wait for 5 to 6 seconds while I watch the loading bar at the top of the page, or the white page with the loading circle icon
Highly doubt the issue is on my end. I've cleared my caches. Performance is the same on a 12 year old laptop or a screaming new PC. Both have 1G connections

Welcome to the VB Badlands club!?

Thank you Slash! It is a great color. I went back with a manual and am enjoying the nuances of rowing gears again. I am figuring that it may be the last one that I buy.

Ugh. This is close to unusable. Can’t just see new posts…old stuff is always there. No check pointing or high-water marking of our viewing to-date. Bad performance both on a phone and a computer. Can’t mark threads as read. The GUI is a step backwards from the old one. Unless this gets better real quick, I’ll be bailing.

Search is unreliable also. Looked for @TCopp ‘s thread on Raptors entitled Raptor Mega Thread. Using Raptor as a search term did not find it (?!?). “Mega” worked…go figure.
Really disliking having to go manually to the end of a thread I’ve looked at a million times. Either the testing on this rollout was inadequate, or someone hired the wrong app design firm. The platform is a huge step backwards in user-friendliness.

Looking good so far. Do have a couple questions.
1 How would I create a thread if I am so inclined.
2 Before in the forum page it would show the latest conversation going on, you could scroll from page to page of the latest reacted to topics. These were listed by the last commented order by time. As I'm looking today, it shows maybe five or six threads and the shows thread topic groupings, with no way to see what the other latest threads are, other than the few at the top when you go to the forum page. Is it going to stay this way or am I just missing something?

When I receive ALERTS, and I click the BELL, and it pops up 1, 3, etc alerts, on a Dark screen.... When I try to click on them. It will not go to the comment or thread. Doesn't do anything. (I'm using a phone) ..
If I click show all at bottom, it loads a white screen, and I can click on any of them then, and it works...

I'm getting the same lag too, but I felt bad saying anything about it. The previous site was lightning quick and a little easier to follow the thread. I'm sure I'll get used to this format but I do hope it gets quicker??

Morning all! We transitioned the site, and now we're working on clean-up items. Things will be a little weird until we get through the list. Thank you for being gracious as we work!
And even though I've been testing the site prior to launch, it feels unfamiliar and will stay feeling unfamiliar for a bit. It's good to have people back online though; seeing all your names and remembering it's still the same people I look forward to reading every day helps me adjust. I hope it does for you too! All comments about the site are welcome, and we will be keeping track of all of them as we continue making changes.
Your right @Laura the new site is very unfamiliar and strange. I'm not liking it so far. I hate to say this, but please make the Bronco Nation website more like Bronco 6G.

@Laura new note when looking at the thread list the date time on The left used to indicate the date/time the thread was initially started and the date/time on the right was the date/time of the latest post in the thread. Looks like they are tied together right now.

Here's a list of things I'm seeing
1) Slow performance - white screen upon navigation to just about anywhere in the site

2) Grayed out functionality that is reality is working
1664880625307.png
3) Bad redirects I'm getting this in all browsers when I plug in Bronco Nation and click on a link

Bookmarks haven't been brought over. We had to prioritize the functions the most people used. I talked to Chris about it and will provide an update later.
