So, I took my doors off and top off last week. Amazing! Anyway, I put everything back on. Now I have 2 windows that don't go down all the way and one that doesn't lower when you open the door. I've tried the 5 second relearn in them and it doesn't do anything. Does anyone have any other ideas to try or any info at all?

This seems to be a major theme with Broncos…. I notice when driving that sometimes after up and down the drivers window doesn’t quite go all the way down (maybe 1/4 inch)…. Once I cycle ignition and open and close doors all is well…
Mine is a 23… yours?

Sometimes you have to do this 2 or 3 times. Issue I had a few months back, took doing it twice (maybe a 3rd time, I forget) before it figured it out. These computers aren't as smart as everyone thinks.

Roll the window all the way down.

Hold the button while it rolls all the way up and keep holding the button for 5 seconds.

Hold the button while it rolls all the way down and hold the button for 5 seconds.

That should do it.

This may not be an up-up-down-down-left-right issue, check the door connectors on each door and make sure none of the pins are bent, and that there's a snug connection.

I have done that multiple times. It still isn't working. I have a call into my dealer for a solution or to be brought in.

That's one thing I haven't tried. I will try that.

I remember someone else having issues with corrosion or bent pins when rehanging the doors…

Hopefully neither of those. Just got it in Feb. and this is the first time removing the doors. The connectors plugged in very easy. Hopefully I didn't bend them. I will check that and see. They do go up and down fine. They just don't go down all the way now on 2 doors and one won't lower when opening.

Maybe try removing the NEGATIVE battery cable for 15 mins. Then retry the window reset.

*Have all doors closed when you remove the cable, and do not open while the battery cable is off.

I had this happen recently when I disconnected the battery to install an accessory. I tried the routine mentioned above several times without luck. One thing I saw on 6G was to have all doors shut except for the door in question which is slightly ajar and go through the cycle twice. They also said that after each 5-second hold to do a second quick pull before going the other direction. Perhaps it was coincidence, but the window drop worked after I did it this way.

I saw this fix on another post regarding wind noise. I went out and performed it twice. Wind noise now reduced by at least 60%. 😀

If you haven't read through it yet, and you have a hard top, this might help reduce the other 40% down some...

The single most biggest "hack" though that worked for me was to run this stuff along the sides, where the seals meet the frame...
Replacing some window seals have helped too. There were at least two defective ones on my truck.

Any solution for this before I take it to the dealer? My 2023 Badlands does the same thing. Pretty annoying when you’re driving for a while.

This recently happened to me as I was trying to roll the windows up with the key fob, you can roll them down with the key fob, just not up.
Anyhoo!!!
Both drivers side and passenger side messed up at the same time when I was messing around with the key fob.
One window wouldn’t stay up and the other wouldn’t go down far enough.
I did the reset, like I have read in the past and it did not work, so I tried doing things my way and “walla” it worked.

What I did differently then the others, was to slowly raise the window “meaning hit the up button as fast as you can and let go as fast as you can” bring the window up till it finally stopped moving at the top, then I held it for 5 seconds, then hold the window button down until it stops and hold for 5 seconds. (See Note)
Then I just hit the button so it automatically went up and it stopped where it was supposed to, when opening the doors they drop that half inch and closing they go back to position…..

Note:
One area I can’t remember though, is if the above doesn’t work, the part where I bring the window back down and hold for 5 seconds……. Try bringing window down then let go of button, then push window button back down for 5 seconds…..
I hope this works for you!!!
