rear occupants roll cage airbags

If one wanted to remove the backseat airbags, what would be expected in the process, and after the process?

Would a loading resistor at the connection remove any fault codes related to the absent airbag? Would the others still deploy if needed? Are they connected via a plug connection to a harness, or do they return all the way somewhere?

Also, I know the cage is made of different metal. Anyone know what it is? Something like unobtainium?

Just entertaining the thought of some plasma and grinder action.
