Just had my dealer install an official Ford fold down tailgate table. It rattles when I hit sharp bumps. This is going to drive me crazy off-road.

It seems pretty tight, but does have a little play when I try to jiggle it when folded up. Does anyone have a suggested fix? Thanks!

Answering my own question, I saw that my table did have the two rubber spacers it was supposed to have. But the latches on top were both a little loose. So I just bent each latch hook up about 1/8 inch. Soft metal. Voila. Table is tight and doesnโ€™t shake now.

Glad you figured it out. I was going to suggest some of that 3M foam that has the peel & stick on the back side.
Or if you're a true redneck, a piece of cut up rubber hose ๐Ÿ˜‚

I think this requires a tail gate recall!! It's probably bent and needs to be fixed.

You could just roll your windows down two inches. That rattle and clunk would have made it so you could not hear the table rattle. ๐Ÿ˜ž This weekend I'll be adding my own tailgate table rattle to my Bronco.
