Does anyone have any links to or info on the air intake front vs back position? Mine is currently front mounted, I'm thinking of rear mounting it for winter, I live in -20 to -40c climate, I'm just not sure if it will collect snow when its front facing???

Everything I checked said put it to the rear for snowy conditions.
I am planning to flip it to the back during the heavy rain season and during the dry season (spring -summer). should be rear facing for Heavy rain, snow, dust and probably a good idea during water fording. right now it is front facing we have had lots of light rain lately no issues. shouldn't have to worry about snow around here too much.
Question: When would it be "better" for it to be forward facing?
Dry weather and Highway/on road driving (for the ram air) although with all the bends I doubt there is much ramming going on, but should help some.
I live down a dirt road so when it is too dry/dusty I will flip it to the back.

I seem to recall seeing (here?) That it was also recommended to have rear facing when driving on dirty/dusty roads to avoid choking the system with alot of loose dust.
