Bronco hardtop - custom paint color oops?

Anyone paint their Bronco hardtop after receiving?

I would like to paint or wrap the hardtop with a white color.
Similar to what I see in the Ford Marketing photos from 2021

I have my prod date, I'm thinking about having the MIC Gray top painted once it arrives at the dealership. Going to talk to the body shop. Would like it to be black (like a new soft top).

I have kicked around way more than once the idea of wrapping in 3M white. I watched a video from Budget Bronco and it came out alright. I def would go flat with the colorvinyl however, (just my choice). If you think about it, it is really only the roof, as the sides and back a literally 90% glass. Time, material, good prep, so it's clean, and have at it! In the end, it is only sticker so, if you fubar it at any time, rip it off and go again until it's correct... unlike floating a garage floor with concrete!

Interesting, I am wondring how long the wrap will last? I suppose it depends on the elements. Let me know if you give this a try. Thank you!

Will do, one thing that is cool about it is it will preserve the top for as long as I have it on; plus, I beleive Budget B said he only had like 150$, all in (plus time), if I remember correctly. While I am sure a bodyshop will def do a flawless and factory looking job, I wouldn't want to be there when that bill rolls out. Has to be a grand or more, right?

Some one on the other forum used Line X ie Rhino liner in oxford white it looked very good and should hold up well.

Yesterday myself and one other Bronco enthusiast saw a Hot Pepper Red Bronco with a color matched MIC hard top. As soon as I can chase them down I’m going to find out how they got it done. It looked amazing.

I’ll probably wrap mine. I just need to find a Tan that will match the DS.
If not the Raptor liner might be a good option. Should cut down on the sound a bit too.

Yesterday myself and one other Bronco enthusiast saw a Hot Pepper Red Bronco with a color matched MIC hard top. As soon as I can chase them down I’m going to find out how they got it done. It looked amazing.

Plan on going to the dealer this weekend to talk about having the top painted. Also, just seen, the new Heritage editions have Oxford White painted tops. Check it out on the Bronco build site.

Got a quote from the ABQ NM Line-X dealer for the 4 dr hardtop in white (premium), around $950 (they've done lots of Jeeps but no Broncos yet so she couldn't give me a firm price). Got an email from Ford this morning that my 2022 BD is built, with delivery late Nov., so I'll drive over to Line X when I pick it up and get a firm quote to update!

Not sure if you're talking to me, but my delivery date is (supposed to be) 11/16-11/22, so if/when i get the Line-X white top, I will definitely post pix!

I had my top and grill paint Oxford White and my Bronco letters red. Absolutely love it!!

I'll be glad to post them. Checked with the Ford dealer i'm going through, come to find out they don't have a body shop so no quote. They do have a body shop with same name as dealer but not connected, different entity and said they would need to see to quote (huh!!!). So i'm going to look around and try to get some ball parks or estimate if possible. My prod date has been jumping around between 11/7 and 12/5, i'm at 11/28 now so will update as time goes by.

I wish I could just order if from Ford with the same color as the vehicle.
