So I was out in the back country and got hung up on a large rock, shorter version is if I would of had a high lift jack and there was some way to jack a Bronco up with one it wouldn't have been a problem, jack it up put something under the front tire let it down and back off easy peasy. So my question is what kind of jacking system are people using on the Broncos besides that cheesy scissor jack. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've seen air bags that will lift a vehicle but I'm not sure how durable they are and the ones I've seen are fairly pricey if they are only a one time use
Thanks

I use this jack. It is great bottle jack and jack stand. It fits nicely under the seat.

I have the red bag and not the ammo can.

Yeah, on-board high-lift jacks are nice, but gotta bottle jack here too. Couple wood blocks for base and you're much better off that OEM.

Interesting..... the pro lift and omega are very similar specs.... I would choose either the 6 ton or the 8 ton. The heavier capacity jacks do not have as much ram extension, and they are over kill since the bronco weighs 2.5 ton.

I like that Torin, but I really like that safe jack is making the jack pad smaller and fitting extensions and their own pads to fit on top.....

Nice options!

I have recently fallen in love with the ARB Jack https://arbusa.com/recovery/arb-jack/. Yes, I know it's pricey but so is an off-road towing service. On the Rebelle Rally, we would have taken a penalty without it for sure because we got high centered coming out of a tunnel. After several failed attempts without the Jack, I was able to use the it on my Sport rear recovery point (pretty sure that's not a recommended practice) and get enough rocks and traction boards to get us out.
Prior to the Rally, I practiced using a soft shackle attached to the wheel, which worked great as well. I love the versatility and ease of use of this jack, not as scary as a high lift plus it's hydraulic (so easy)
This is a recovery jack only, like the high lift, only much easier and safer in my opinion. When I had a flat, I used the stock scissor jack with an impact to quickly lift the wheel for an easy change.

Couple bottle jack points for ya. I spent alot of summers working on my uncle's farm. He always had several different size bottle jacks 'round used on equipment repairs/maintenance, lifting barns & other buildings repairing washout, etc. His 12 ton was the smallest in collection, which had been on the farm for generations.

He wanted jacks stored standing on their base, said internal seals won't dryout and leak - they'll last forever!. Also, only hand tighten the valve, never put a wrench on their valve screw, they're easily over torqued and then the jack's done. He always had a bunch of wood blocks nearby, as the only limit on how high a bottle jack can go is the number of available supporting blocks.

Whatever type jack you're using - Be Careful!!

Has anyone used the exhaust air jacks? I've looked at them. Only issue I see is if you got stuck and your truck stopped running. Hope you had a lot of folks with you full of hot air!! :0)
