This is a simple solution for Base Bronco with Aux. $195 switch option. But will it work?
Ford customer care is clueless. After dealing with selling and four other, may have found one 50 mikes away, that Ford says may help.
Here is the issue: get mixed opinions on switch two(15amp) or 3-6(10amp). Draw or load at point E rear passenger cargo inside cover must be at least 6amp @12v. Wires to point E, from relay in engine fuse box are 1.5mm EU( CLOSE TO 16 AWG). Service manager says tech say Ford did good job and some say auto wires, if all copper, can handle 15 Amp load. Only issue is amp/volt friction loss or amp dropage based on length of wire distance from battery( source).
Plan A Ford's method, dismantle driver side and run 12ga to 15 Amp fuse then to battery. 2-3 hrs shop time.
Plan B If base has Aux. $195 switches option. Use 15A switch #2. Ford did that for us. Place 6 amp in passenger side cargo (fender) instead of driver side, since you have to get access to white/yellow wire from glove box connection to point E( see drawing) green cut goes to right halogen tail light( base) and extend if needed red and yellow to left tail light. Use T connectors, since Ford is not plug and play.
