What would it take to get a Bronco thru it, starting with a Badlands as your base offroader...

Badlands should have no trouble. I've not personally been but know of many early broncos that have been and setup similar to the Badlands. Driver capability is just as important as the ride.

I've completed the trail in my YJ with just a rear locker.... driver, spotter and line play a big part of the success. Tires and clearance as well. I have seen some stock height rigs make it, but they can get damaged.

I think the Black Diamond with rear locker can give the trail a hell of a challenge..... ad a lift and 35's even easier.
Any one of the trims with the Sasquatch set up should be able to do it..... the 2 doors will have it easier, but the 4 can do it as well...

The badlands should do it easily I think almost any model with the Sasquatch package would make it. My 89 Bronco has done it a couple times. Body width is the only concern as there are a few points you have to be careful.

It takes a good body and paint shop but definitely going to make it through with some body bruises.

With the modulatity and ability to take off parts It should be easy to take off the fender flares and maybe the quarterpanels and fenders so you could eliminate most if not all damage.

I had no idea that was possible!

Yeah according to reports it is and all the screws with the Torx bit and the Ford info on them are what can be taken off and changed. So I would think it would be possible.
Side note something I am going to do to my 89 as soon as we go below 100 is use Raptor liner (competition orange in my case) to paint the 89 so it will be a bit more durable.
Also with all the accessories coming I am sure they well make ways to slim it down to avoid damaging your new baby. I can guarantee I will be looking for those parts and maybe fabricating some of my own out here in Vegas.

I haven’t run the Rubicon, so I appreciate reading y’alls feedback. It makes me more confident that a Sasquatch BadLands will be more than capable. Thanks for sharing!

Side note if you plan on doing Rubicon or MOAB GET THE BASH PLATES... Trust me on this.. that will probably be the most important of the upgrades past the sasquatch package. Also make sure you have recovery straps, a High Lift style Jack, duct tape, a good spotter, extra oil, antifreeze and other fluids.

Cactus might work be a little like steel wool if you remove the needles... but If you do that you can use the needles as toothpicks and clean your bum and teeth at the same time.

What would it take to get a Bronco thru it, starting with a Badlands as your base offroader...
- Sway bar disconnects
- 35” tires
- Rock Rails
- skid plates
- plenty of patience

so, a Badlands should have no problems; however you would probably end up with a few scratches and possibly a dent or two.

^ This. Driver, spotter and line are key. Also, the year. Some years are wicked! the trail changes each year. I did it with my 2013 4 door Jeep Rubicon, 35's and 3.5" short arm lift. Handled it like a champ, so I think any Sasquatch equipped, locker enabled Bronco would be ok. Underbody armor is *super* helpful. It's an amazing trail. Fordyce as well if you're looking in that region - you can test your fjording ability.

My first trip (backwards) was in a ‘new’ 90’s stock YJ, learned a few valuable lessons that trip. Planned on couple hour drive from South Shore, ended up being a 10 hour trip.
