Here is a little better and easier to read breakdown of all of the option packages.

Well that's a bummer if you can't get the rubberized floors on the base model. I was hoping to get the base model with the easy to clean interior.

Remove the carpet and rhino line the floor. I have done this to an old Jeep I had and to both my Broncos I have now.

What's nice is that the big tires and lockers are available as a package for any trim level including base. That is a departure from how Jeep does it. So you don't have to buy the most expensive Bronco to get some significant capability.

Ford did a pretty good job of apportioning the options to each separate trim level, but it's too bad they don't make then available al a carte - (let the buyer pick and choose EXACTLY which options they want and which they don't). It's not a huge deal, the true gearheads who are in the market for one are going to add whatever equipment they want themselves anyway, after they buy it, but for the prices Ford is asking you should be able to get the truck you want just the way you want it, from the factory.

No Cyber Orange on the base model? Screw it, I'll get it wrapped. No overhead switches for lockers, winch, lights, etc, on the base model? Painless Wiring and others have quality, waterproof switch/relay panels that will go anywhere. The aftermarket will come out with their own versions of the sway bar disconnect and other bits, or just wait until a newbie wrecks their shiny new Bronco and parts it out.

Gotta womder how many of the 3,500 "First Editions" will never see dirt, but instead will be sealed away in plastic bubbles inside climate controlled storage rooms, while the buyers sit around waiting for the next Barret Jackson auction.

I doubt any FE's will see dirt. As you said, locked away investments to be sold at a later date. Sad :(

I'm kind of disappointed that the sway bar disconnect is now (since the First Editions are all gone) only available on the Badland model. Why? I think it needs to be an option at least on the Wildtrak as well since the top model is now unavailable.

My FE will get a lift, tires, a tune and be on the trail as soon as I get it.
