Ford did a pretty good job of apportioning the options to each separate trim level, but it's too bad they don't make then available al a carte - (let the buyer pick and choose EXACTLY which options they want and which they don't). It's not a huge deal, the true gearheads who are in the market for one are going to add whatever equipment they want themselves anyway, after they buy it, but for the prices Ford is asking you should be able to get the truck you want just the way you want it, from the factory.
No Cyber Orange on the base model? Screw it, I'll get it wrapped. No overhead switches for lockers, winch, lights, etc, on the base model? Painless Wiring and others have quality, waterproof switch/relay panels that will go anywhere. The aftermarket will come out with their own versions of the sway bar disconnect and other bits, or just wait until a newbie wrecks their shiny new Bronco and parts it out.
Gotta womder how many of the 3,500 "First Editions" will never see dirt, but instead will be sealed away in plastic bubbles inside climate controlled storage rooms, while the buyers sit around waiting for the next Barret Jackson auction.
