Bronco will be the best comeback story in off-road history. Jeep will have its fan based regardless to how badly Bronco kicks their butts. Jeep had its time being at the top for many years. It’s now Bronco’s time to be the Alpha Off-Road Vehicle!! What do you think?

In my opinion I feel Jeep will keep the rock crawling kings for the price. Upgrading an independent front to take and handle a larger lift and huge wheels for the extreme will be costly vs the solid front.

As far as off road comfort Bronco will take that and should have better control on the road as well.

Zero doubt the Bronco will eat a huge chunk of jeep wranglers marketshare. They are so use to being the default winner. Now there is good competition.

The Bronco always had better on road manners.
I found most of the Jeeprs I've talked forget the Ford has made 4x4s for along time. It was 1959 they made their first 4x4 pickup and half the Jeeps (GPW) used in WWll.
They seem to forget these facts and act as if Ford is new to the market. One of them I quizzed never heard of Chrysler.

I found many people buying Broncos always wanted one, so are buying one now.

The Bronco will never sway true Jeepers. For them it's a lifestyle and a family. I get that. That's why they accept all of the issues and shortcomings as "a Jeep thing". I'm a member of a few Wrangler and Gladiator forums and groups and the biggest complaint I see from Jeepers towards the Bronco is that it is a copycat. Which I really don't get. You can't really call something that is a revival a copycat. Yeah it's a 4x4, fully off-road capable SUV with removable doors and top. That's where the similarities end IMO. Oh the other complaint I see is "it's a Ford". Which is just silly.

I think the Bronco is good for Jeep owners. The competition will drive innovation, pricing, etc. In the end, Jeep owners win as well as Bronco owners. Jeep owners might be jealous of the short term buzz, but they have dominated 4x4 magazines, etc. for years. It will level out.

I am excited to see what innovations the Bronco's return brings to the 4x4 vehicle industry. This should be a great era for 4x4 fans!

Well as a Jeep owner right now I can honestly say I am not bitter. We are getting the Bronco and keeping our Jeep. With Ford bringing the Bronco back and going after some spots that Jeep has ignored through the years will make Jeep step their game up and in turn will cause Ford to match them with the Bronco. This competition will truly help all of us, the customers and hopefully spark some life back into the American automotive industry. Dodge came after the Raptor this week and dropped that Rebel TRX, so I cant wait to see how Ford responds with the new Raptor. Competition is good.

Just a few random thoughts for the day.

Most off-road enthusiasts will engage in a comparison between a Bronco, Jeep, Land Rover, 4Runner, etc. They will find similarities and differences. Many will have brand loyalty, which is good. I have been a Ford owner my entire life. I have great brand loyalty and do not mind if the Ford vehicle I own has characteristics which are good and some not so good.

I suspect the Bronco will expand the universe of off-road enthusiasts and off-road vehicle trails for us to explore. Here in New Hampshire the Jeep owners were instrumental in helping establish the first ORV trail on public lands in New England. I am speaking of the Jericho Mountain 4X4 Trail. I am grateful for their leadership in establishing the trail and their stewardship in maintaining the course for all to enjoy. Many Jeep owners know that course like the back of their hand and I welcome their guidance and help.

As I seek out ORV trails across the country, I welcome interest in my Bronco. I will not have to sell admirers on how superb it is, the Bronco will sell itself.

Have everyone seen the Jeep "Kill Sheet" for the Bronco v. Jeep. This is normal for companies to give their sales teams and dealers talking points.

Jeep probably feels the same way F150 Raptor owners feel with the Ram TRX in the picture. It's nice when you have no competition for a while.

I still have a Willys. Drove a Land Cruiser FJ40 for a while, always wanted a Land Rover Series ll but got smart after experiencing my late friends Series lll . When I used to go four wheeling in the 70s and 80s, we really didn't care what you had, it was about getting together and going for a ride.Still is.

I'll let the bench racers battle it out on their keyboards, they will never own a Jeep or Bronco.

Well I for one am excited about this awesome Bronco. From all the videos I have seen on this forum and youtube, this little horse can buck the schit out of the Wrangler. Right out the gate. I own a 2018 Challenger. I also own a 1970 Mercury Montego coupe with a 351 Cleveland. Original engine!!! I wanted to buy a new Wrangler, but the dealers here in SW Ford think their Wranglers are worth 50,000, and 60,000 grand. That's the cheapest ones. You can't find a base Wrangler, they always have extra dealer add ons, on those so they are 45,000 grand. So I'm sooooooooo happy this has happened. Thank You Ford. I can get my off roader at a price I can live with. Dreaming of my Base 2-door, 4-door, Black, hum Rapid Red, 4 cylinder stick, or the v-6 auto with Sasquatch. MAN the CHOICE IS so hard. Hell if Ford would have made the Baby Bronco doors removable, thats one bad@ss little booger, from the videos. Ford locking axle option front and rear!!!!!! All models, please. My last kevetch, Ford, please consider WHITE TOP, and interior.
Baja on! As Ford Spanked the competition in 1969, in the Baja 1000, NO OTHER AUTOMAKER HAS, replicated in 50 plus years

Competition breeds innovation. No matter which side of the coin you prefer (Bronco or Wrangler) competition is a good thing for the average consumer.

Theres a lot here from both perspectives. Jeep's established and will have its followers no matter the case the Bronco presents. Fords been away from the eyes of the Jeep-peeps as well as looky-loues who've thought.....maybe one day I'll get a Jeep. At this point its a fresh start in a way for the Bronco both from unaware buyers to established off roaders. IMHO Ford needs to build one hell of a Bizarro-World Jeep (let me know if you get that:LOL:), meaning its got to stack up not only on a trail but be better in every way then a Wrangler.....period. Even with all that, only time will tell as the Wrangler has a decorated past. The Bronco might just be the tarnish the Wrangler needs.

Great off road and usable vehicles keep their value! The Tacoma, the Wrangler, the 4Runner.......that to me is how you know you've build a heck of a vehicle....those things HOLD their value and you can't say its all about reliability (Wrangler  ). Yeah, I know people here will have a problem with me writing this but truth be told, Ford (and their dealerships) would die to have the value people place on their Tacomas, Wranglers and 4Runners. To me......not being critical but just from the outside looking in (and writing in a car forum :poop:), the Bronco needs to be reliable, durable, purpose built.......which will result in desirable.

Being a Jeep owner I welcome the competition. Hopefully it will get FCA back on their toes, and not keep resting on their laurels.

As it has been said before I think it is great for the consumer because both Ford and Jeep will work to better there product and one up each other and that is to our benefit having a better product. As far as who is better that is always going to be preference. It shouldn't really matter when you are on the trail what you have. I don't personally care if you have a Rover, Jeep, Fj, Bronco or any other vehicle. I prefer Ford and like what they have shown us in the new Bronco therefore I will drive one. However, I like Wranglers and personally love the 4runners.
