I purchased a used 2021 Bronco Black diamond with 14.5k miles, the bronco is gold certified from ford. It is a great vehicle. I have had 1 problem since I drove the truck off the lot, the radio. The radio does not show the station bar (save stations), information on the screen is funky and other glitches. The dealership has tried to solve the problem but it is a ford problem…I am prisoner to ford. they are waiting for the engineers to update the software. It could be updated in 2 days or 6 months. I have had the truck for 4 weeks and no update. I am asking for a new radio. I am so frustrated, what are your suggestions? Thank you!

Hey, welcome to Bronco Nation - Congrats on your Bronco!!

Yeah, does sound like you need a software update. At least, start with that before changing out modules. I don't understand why there's a wait on the software though. Am assuming Ford's current version should work just fine.

Perhaps confirming your understand with this dealership Monday AM, before trying another dealer..

At the risk of offending you, have you done a soft reset of the radio?
Powerbutton and fast forward together for five seconds…amazing what it sometimes solves…

On another note, I have a 23 f150 that had a radio issue that had to wait for a software update from Ford… took 100 days or so…

Keep in mind the teenagers writing code for Ford are now out of school for the summer and busy chasing friends…
