Does anyone have a solution to the MIC roof noise? I have a 2023 Badlands with the MIC top and shortly after getting my Bronco I started hearing a snapping and popping noise from the front panels. I’ve taken it to the dealership at least 4 times and they make it worse. They don’t seem to have fix. I tried the internet fix (heat shrink tubing) but that didn’t work. Now it also sounds like the panel is loose just driving around streets.
Any solutions would be helpful.
Thanks

If you use the magnifying glass up above search for MIC top noise and there should be numerous threads. I personally find that if I periodically remove the front and middle panels, clean and lubricate the gaskets and re install it takes care of the issue. Some have put thin layers of adhesive felt over the pin holes or adjusted the latches. You should be able to find posts about these fixes.

Interesting...I had 2 Jeeps, TJ for 15 years, JK for 18 years never had to remove the tops and lube the seals so they didn't shake, rattle, and squeak. Just sayin.

Mine did this also. I found if you turn the passenger side top, center latch slightly off center but still engaged, made this noise go away. Give this a try, maybe on both front center latches. I hope it works for you!1699627024802.png

Thanks everyone for your help and quick reply. Liebe296 I tried your suggestion and it seems to have stopped the noise! Thank you
I also plan to add the cloth tape over the pins for good order. What an immediate difference. The noise was driving me crazy.
Thanks again

Mostly to keep the gaskets “supple”. Haaaaa, better than saying moist, like a towelette.

The cloth tape over the pins did the job for me.
