I hear a thump when I stop and go.

I haven't heard of anyone having that issue, no one in our group anyway.
Is it more prevalent when you get on the brakes hard?

2024 Sasquatch Black Diamond 10K miles. Question, has anyone felt or heard a soft thump coming from the breaks, drive shaft, U-joints or possibly the transmission? It doesn't happen all the time. I hear a slight thump when I stop and go, almost as if the gear box, drive shaft, or U-joints were bad? I've had it checked at Ford, they said it was a possible bearing, replaced it, still has issue.

I often hear a single clunk in slower stop-and-go traffic. A pretty solid sound and a distinct clunk feeling. It does not sound like anything is breaking, but it does sound like a loose suspension component, the center of the vehicle, or toward the front. 23 2dr BadSquatch.

Do you hear it when going over speed bumps or a rough road ? My '23 2dr Badlands non-squatch has had a clunking noise since late '23 and the Ford place said it was a panel not secured properly after they changed oil the last time. I t is still there after they found that though. Drives me nutz. There is a TSB for a broken diff mount but I really can't get under there to see that well to tell if that may be the culprit.

I'd be willing to bet lunch, that's what is causing it.

Thanks, MisterMarco. It sounds like you're experiencing a similar problem, unfortunately Ford can't seem to find the problem. I feel it more towards the rear of the Bronco. I was told that it may be the braking system but that doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks Rydfree. It's more like when I'm going downhill and or if I make a quick stop and go. As soon as I release the break it does the noise, as if the gears are not catching or the U bends are loose. It doesn't do it all the time but it does annoy me.

did they inspect the brake calipers? Wonder if one of them could be lose in its bracket.

Thanks, Polaris425. I drove around with one of their lead mechanics before leaving it to show them what is going on, and he made a reference to the braking system. They did replace a bearing for the front, I would think they did since they assume that that's what may be happening. Still have same issue. I've asked other bronco friends about this, unfortunately no one else seems to have noticed it.
