How much off road usage will you do on your new Bronco?

I know many off road automobile owners (like the Jeep) who never used their car off road, they only buy them for the look, are you going to be one of them!!!??? Please tell me no way!!

I really don't know yet. I have no doubts I'm going to love off-roading but with limited places to go in my area, I'm not sure how often I will be able to go. I have a few areas about 3.5 hrs away, so I want to explore them when I can.
I plan on retiring in 5 years and then my options open up a lot. I plan on learning as much as I can and as often as I can.

Almost 100% on road. There's a little creek bed in the mountains of West Virginia that leads to a river that I have hit a few times. Going to do it again next time I'm down there.

As much as possible. Probably only a couple times a year at first, but I'm hoping we can do more trips of longer duration as my son gets older.

I literally can't wait. Being a truck owner for decades, it will be nice to have a vehicle that can do trails that were way too small for my trucks.

No rock crawling, but, my daily commute to and from work is a mixture of highway and gravel/dirt road. So, it'll be somewhat off-road every day. I also may end up seeking out some trails at some point....and also finding a nice, muddy area and going nuts.

I want to take mine on many offroad trips. Michigan has some scenic, but easy DNR routes. Some of the interesting park trails are overgrown and I’m not thrilled about causing pinstripes right away. I love the tight forest trails here and the sheer-drop cliff roads of Colorado. Hoping to not daily drive it and only use for cruising and adventuring.

I plan to do some overlanding and camping. Hit some of the local trails and definitely the beaches. I already have trips planned next year to go to Cape Cod, Outer Banks and Camping and hiking a few times up in the White Mountains. Looking at hitting the Blue ridge and Smokey mountains possibly too next year. It will get a lot of use both on and off trail. I wont be doing any crawling not at least until it is paid off and I have had for a few years. Can't wait to put it to the test.

Not much here. I might take it to the nearest offroad area once for grins and giggles. Possibly on the beach a couple of times. There will be other times when I use the off road capability that I don't even foresee. Otherwise it will be my DD and will be the primary winter time bad weather rig.

I’ve never gone off roading before but it was some thing I wanted to try with my ‘93 351. Unfortunately the suspension was in really bad shape and I didn’t know how to fix it, plus I was gonna sell it soon anyways. My new Bronco will be my daily driver, but I want to take it off road and go find some beautiful views from mountain tops to low valleys. Just gotta make sure life doesn’t get in the way!

I've never done much offroading but living in Arizona there is no shortage good places to go, so definitely plan to do weekend offroading trips. One of my good buddies just got a Jeep Rubicon, so we will be going out together to explore.

I think 30 percent of time. Mudding and going to the East coast Beaches. Can't drive on the Beaches here!!!! Bummer. Although the thought of salt water and sand gives me the creeps. So not much Beachin. You can tell the Yankee cars and trucks here. Rusted out fender wells, rockers, & door sills... Then the cracker trucks with their rusted out beds and back bumpers. (towing boats to the ocean ramps)

Your going to have the time of your life. Believe me friend. Check out the Government lands you can go on and camp. Take a tent, and grub. You'll wish you would have done it sooner! BOONIN!!!!!

[/QUO Sweet! I plan to retire in New Mexico to take in the Grand west. I'll just have to settle for muddin in the Bronco until the day comes to move. (retire) I love Florida winters but the summers are just gettin to me. Working outside most of the day being 62, is killer. Check out federal gov'nt lands you can go to and camp. Bring your tent and grub!

I'm buying this so I can get to my fishing spots that I can't get to with a car. So it will be offroad a couple times a week.

If I make it out once a month I will be lucky. However, now that my littles are getting bigger, I am hoping to get at least one of them interested in the outdoors life and making the escape easier to justify. I figure some if I hit some trails, find some local wildlife and introduce my boy to some hanging in true nature (loves science) that he will get on board.

I want to go trail riding and exploring with it.

I haven't been "off-road" since being on active duty in the Marine Corps in the 1990's driving the HMMWV's in the desert of California, jungles of Japan and mountains of Korea.
