How much off road usage will you do on your new Bronco?

I know many off road automobile owners (like the Jeep) who never used their car off road, they only buy them for the look, are you going to be one of them!!!??? Please tell me no way!!

I will. To be honest, not as much as I would like to. Probably a handful of times a year I will make an effort to do more than just some two-tracking. Especially in the summer with the doors off!

Hopefully mine will be on the beach 1-2 times a month from April to October. When we finally move to NC that will probably drop to maybe 3-4 times a year since the beach will be a 3-4 hour drive. But with the fact I found out about Uwharrie National Forest from another member, I'll hopefully be doing more trail riding and camping.

I have a list of camping, 4x4 areas to visit ASAP. I would be lying to say it'll spend the majority of time on pavement but it'll definitely get mud / dirt on the tires / and some cowboy pinstripes.
Build week of 7/26....still....no its 8/16 now

I won't be doing any crawling, but I can't wait to explore in the deserts and mountains on camping trips. With my current F-150 4x2 on street tires, there were some dirt roads with "4x4 only beyond this point" signs that just made me sad to have to turn around. I'll be making trail plans for the next year!

Hopefully more than a few times a year, that's for sure. I will definitely make the effort, once I get the full Paint Protection Film on it.

I have two very young kids (3 and 10 mos), so I don't get out there as much as I'd like to, but the excitement over the Bronco has fired me up! I'm determined to take the kids out and inspire them to love the outdoors as much as I do. Start them young! I'm already researching and planning several trips. If you don't make a plan it'll never happen, right?

We plan to do some off-roading with ours. We go camping a lot so we do moderate off-roading in the summer months in the Sierra Nevada’s. Just don’t want to trash a 60k vehicle.

Will be hitting mountain and desert roads as much as possible. Never tried any real rock climbing but look forward to having a capable vehicle to do so and will give it a go, sounds like a great challenge :).

I am not going to go rock crawling, but I will use it in the gravel and dirt on a regular basis and I am looking forward to trail drives. So, likely 20 - 30% off-road overall. Maybe more if we can find some cool places.
I wasn't there...

mine will certainly go off road. lots of trails to see and run and camping to do. hoping next purchase after bronco will be a trailer to support me in my camping efforts like a patriot or conqueror, though both are definitely out of my price range so hoping to find something a bit more reasonable.

That being said if i add it all up, i bet over 95% of my miles will still be on asphalt. Though some of those will hopefully be in the snow where the bronco should get me where i need to go much better than anything else i've ever driven. Though the last 2 winters for us have been completely devoid of snow....

Expecting only off-roading will be sand dunes bbut only a couple times a year at most, however some Michigan roads qualify for high speed off roading

Currently, I go camping every weekend. Hope to take my Bronco once it arrives on off-road adventures around my camp sites.

Spent most of my life within view of the ocean. Ocean kayaking has been my sport of choice.

Changing gears to off-road adventures. Never been to Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, etc. I hear those states have some off-road opportunities! Planning to travel out west at least twice each year and seek dirt and rocks. You got dirt and rocks out there?

Yeah @BuzzyBud ... you might be able to find dirt and rock in those places. Can probably even find dirt and rocks in Cali, Oregon and Washington. AND do some ocean kayaking. :sneaky:

Ocean kayaking is amazing in the San Juan Islands. Loved my kayak camping trips on those islands. Now I have a dog who is always by my side. He can come with me in the Bronco, not in the kayak. He says, dirt is good. New chapter for us.
