Ford X-Plan to get you a Bronco under MSRP.

So found this to be pretty interesting and take it for what its worth, but if you are afraid that your dealer is going to try to gouge you on the price of that Bronco you're eye balling, then search out a way to get the Ford X-Plan. This is where you know someone from Ford that can fill out a form that can get you a PIN to use when you're looking to put your money down. Maybe your company has a partnership with Ford that can get you on the plan. I also found out that if you join the Mustang Club of America, that they have a partnership with Ford and that is just another way to get the Ford X-Plan.

Hope it helps you out there on the quest!!

Looks like if you are currently holding stock in Ford, 100 shares minimum for the last 6 months, you also qualify.

PDF can be found here.

Edit: It would be great if Bronco Nation membership qualified us too.

I'm not sure with new model releases, but sometimes with existing models you'll get better incentivized deals from a dealer than using x-plan. So I suggest double checking before going through all the paperwork to get a PIN.
Either way, owning a little Ford stock is a great way to automatically get related Ford financial news from your broker and to enjoy the fun of having a little skin in the game.

100 shares of Ford right now would be around $680.....

For $25 you can sign up for the Mustang Club of America for a whole year and qualify for X Plan pricing. I went the $25 route and signed up and already have my pin number.

There is wording out there that says you need 60 days with the club to qualify.....but it really means you need to have at least 60 days left on your membership to qualify for X Pricing.
Pins last a full year.....so I have until next July before it expires...so it'll be plenty of time when it comes to finally finalize the order of the Bronco.
You'll need to present the print out of your PIN number and the Mustangs club physical membership card when its time to order your Bronco.

How did you get the PIN after signing up? Was it emailed to you or in your membership profile page?

Once you are a member.....you navigate to this page
https://mustang.org/member-services/x-plan/
Follow the instructions and you'll get to a page where you will need to generate your Pin

I was eligible for X-Plan for several years. Never had a chance to use it. With rebates, incentives and dealer discounts my deal always came out better than X-Plan pricing. Now I'm fully aware that there will be no incentives and dealer discounts probably for the first year. But by the time I'm ready to buy the dust will have settled and there should be. Guess it's probably good for those buying at release.

I’m guessing the average dealership won’t be selling Broncos under MSRP for the first year due to demand, and I’m concerned they may even mark up the price. X-Plan pricing comes out to about a $700 discount on the Big Bend model.

There will be dealers selling below MSRP right out of the gate. High volume dealers worry more about units moved than profit per vehicle. They make more money from Ford by moving large amounts of units than worrying about marking up anything.

SO...A Mustang Club membership costs $25 and gets you X-Plan. A Bronco Nation Membership costs $70 and gets you a licence plate and some stickers. Ummmmmm....FORD, GIVE US X-PLAN. And since I am in the complaining mood (sorry folks), the Bronco 6G is really outpacing this site on news and information! Bronco Nation needs to step it up and Ford needs to give this site some exclusives, else, why would more Bronco owners join???? Thus ends the whine. My apologies.

I qualify for A plan... My company also does automotive work... And I was able to combine this with 0% financing as well.
Hopefully all dealers do this and with x plan as well.
Was at a Buick dealer with my plan and it was either/or. Screw them!

From the Mustang Club site:
"You must have your MCA Membership Card as proof that you are an MCA Member in good standing. New members, please note that cards generally take about three weeks to process and mail. The MCA office cannot process “expedited” requests for membership cards. Please plan appropriately."

So it would appear once you have your card you are good to go! In three weeks. Is anyone from BRONCO NATION reading this? Ford?

I'm really surprised with the fact that Bronco Nation is sponsored by Ford that we aren't getting more exclusives. It's almost like this forum is an afterthought that doesn't get very much attention.

Yes, but Bronco 6G has so much more now. I am really wondering what the money was for. The polling that is going on over there, the sharing of dealer information and offers, the interior shots, reservation tracking, etc. and it is free! Bronco Nation needs to step it up now, not in the coming months. It all comes down to a “Value Add” proposition.

They most likely won’t because they are backed by Ford. Pretty much they have to watch everything that’s posted. Bronco6g will always have more because people can talk freely there and threads don’t get deleted if Ford does not approve.

Yup true. I have had a few posts that I have made in the news section that never made it through. I don't know if it's because they were censored. Or just a moderator never got around to approving it.
