Couple Questions - Outerbanks w/ Sasquatch vs Wildtrak

Hey people, I wanted to get a few opinions/answers to some questions I had...

Looking through the roll out of these two, is there really that much of a difference between a OBX 2.7 w/Sasquatch vs the wildtrak? Seems you can basically wild track a OBX...
Also, what is the big difference between sand and Baja modes, if anyone really knows that at this point? That seems to be the main thing that separates those two options from what I am looking at.

Also, is the HD modular bumper the steel, and that comes with the steel back if you upgrade right?

I can't see myself doing insane off-roading like rock climbing as I've only really ever had sports/muscle cars, so this is kind of new to me. I'll probably cruise in the desert and on some trails more than anything, so I was thinking of the following setup

OBX
2.7
Sasquatch
Lux
Leather seats
(white hard top if available)

i like the idea that OBX has the body colored fender flares because I want to do the red with white top look and think it looks kind of dumb with black flares.

Problem is if you upgrade to the Sasquatch you get the wider fender flares, not the body colored ones.

Wildtrak has a different 4x4 system, of course the 2.7/auto, additional GOAT mode, Modular Shadow Black-painted hard top, different front axle, aux switches.

https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/conten...crossovers/bronco/pdf/21_Bronco_lineup_HR.pdf
Adding 2.7/auto: 3500
Sas:5000
Lux: 3500

You're adding $12,000 to the base $38,000 (2dr) right off the bat and still missing the roof and GOAT mode. You're at $50,000 at that point and the 2dr WT starts at $48,000.

damn, that's right! then I guess at that point there's really no difference in the appearance of the three different models I'm looking at, so I might as well go to one of the higher two (badlands or WT)
thanks for reminding me of that. Maybe I can just get the fires painted down the road.

Your only paying 1600 for the 2.7 outer banks cause it already comes with the auto

Good point, but that is still the price of the WT with all those bells in it and more. If you're going to add all that, I'd flip the question and say "Why not just get the WT?"

Would be nice to be able to get the wider flares in body color.

Was in the same boat. I was thinking OBX when I did the reservation, but based on preliminary price info based on the survey, I think the WT might be a wash on cost or close enough.

With so many fender flare options in the aftermarket for Trucks and SUVs, I'm sure we will have options for the Bronco too. I see plenty of vehicles with aftermarket flares painted the same as body color so that is an option as well.

yeah I am starting to lean toward a race red wild trak, given the current pricing options we know.
