i understand that Ford is essentially behind this forum, so an open letter request - please find a way for the rear windows on the 2 door can open to increase ventilation in the rear - ideally they would be removable, but worst case scenario maybe pop out a few inches? you still have a little time to tweak!!

I'm pretty sure I heard they are going to be removable. I know the prototypes have not had this option but that was going to change on the production units. Since I'm ordering a 4 door, I don't know the specifics about the available hard tops for the 2-door. I will try to find the thread that talks about it.

Ford should have given us a truck tailgate and a power rear window. The bronco would be almost perfect then.

Where would you put the full spare in that configuration?

Changing the conversation a little bit,
Does anybody knows if on the regular 2 door hard top you will be able to pull out the covers over the driver/passenger? Or you will need to order the modular hard top in order to do it?

Yes, regular 2dr hard top is three pieces, the two pieces over driver and passenger can be removed independently of each other or together, even with the factory roof rails on. The 4dr also has a middle section over the rear seats that can be removed (but not with the roof rails on).

FYI, one Ford rep at BV told me that the 'modular' hard top on display there was preproduction which is why the rear side windows were not removable, but that in the production version they will be removable. It's possible he may have been mistaken or was thinking of the 4dr version.

I begged Ford to have a white top and interior option. The latest news is that Ford has agreed to do a white top and white/grey interior. I'm so happy!!!!! We don't know if it's optional on all or what models. So maybe, if you plead enough, I'm sure many Bronco fans would love that option. I'm just happy to have the rear window open! Many have asked to have the rear seat on the 2-door especially, easy removeable. Ford has been mute. There other "ask for" things that Ford hasn't said anything about. We will see. But from what I have seen about this Bronco, and the Baby Bronco, Ford is trying to make them like the original Mustang was as possible. Something for everyone. These are really likeable, user friendly and capable Sport UTE's. Especially Badland and Wildtrak models. I have one final wish myself. Locking front and rear axles as a stand alone option......dreaming....... Take care freind, sorry so long. Baja on!
Baja on! As Ford Spanked the competition in 1969, in the Baja 1000, NO OTHER AUTOMAKER HAS, replicated in 50 plus years

The ideal would have been like the old station wagon tail gate that would drop down like a truck or open like a door.

Yes. That was a serious question.

Thank you for the photo, I had totally forgotten about those swing arms just for the spare. :)

I like the idea of the 2 removable rear seats and definitely the lock differential front and back as a la carte.

I think it was a missed opportunity by Ford not to include a small, really comfortable 2 person bench seat that's easily removable. Sure storage could be a concern but I would love to have the rear seat just in case, and be able to leave it out most of the time.

I agree, the rear windows need to flip out like a van rear window at least.

Agreed!!! They are taking tooo many short cuts with the 2 door and it is annoying! Ford needs to treat the 2 door with the same respect as the 4 door!

Actually more, because that is the original. The two doors will be set up for more serious offroading than the 4 door.

What does the Bronco have in common with the Wrangler? So far the Bronco has the Wrangler beat in every category. They weren't copying the Jeep they are out doing it.
