I've made 131 so far for the folks on the forum !
This is more of a side fun-thing for me, as I have a regular full time job.
I designed and built what I wanted for my own bronco and then decided to share with everyone.

Website has some photos , gallery photos and a bunch of video's too

Also had someone nice enough to accidentally test the waterproofness of it.... he made a pond !
Long story short, it saved his bronco, when a flash rainstorm happened and he was away from his Bronco.
He is now also my first repeat customer as he wanted a white v4.0 to go with his black v3.4 :)

This looks like a solution for me! How easy is it to take off for those days (or nights) when the sun isn't an issue?

EDIT: Also, I think the white would look great with my carbonized metallic. Is it pretty easy to keep clean?

Tested my V3.4 yesterday. Nice and quiet on the highway. May get whatever the latest version will be next summer!

It is made from the exact fabric used for hardcore jet riverboats.
It is acrylic coated on BOTH sides, just wipe it down with a wet cloth and it's clean !!

Problem solved....look at my hoist and track DIY post :)

Instructions and parts list in the video below (if you open it on Youtube).
(I now I put the middle section on top of the back and hoist it all up and away, then slide it 10-feet to the side on the track)

The Ford bimini has a metal bar across the middle, and flaps like my aunts arms at bingo!
I wanted better, my dream was an old school Jeep style bikini top stretched over my Bronco, but never found one.
And here we are :)

Here is also a video of the material used:
It's an older video but it answered a few questions that folks had last year. A bit cheesy, but it goes over the marine grade canvas, waterproofness, thickness, and weight. I'll make a more professional version soon.
