Hey Y'all,

I ordered the red Rockwerkx screws after reordering my Bronco a second time. Then of course I had to reorder a third time and changed the color to Hot Pepper Red so now the hard top screws don't match. I had them in any ways for awhile then just decided I didn't like it. They're a good product, very beefy etc. These are going to match the Race Red best. These are the 2 door version.

$50 + shipping.

So what is the purpose of the raised top? Can you use them as a tie down or is it so you don't need a tool to remove them?

Both actually, I just got a set myself. You can use as anchor for interior tie-downs and they can be installed/ removed by hand . I still tightened them with small lever of some sort.

I agree RW, I was really impressed with the quality of them. heavier than I expected and they look great inside the bronco. No issues with a loose top or having to worry if they'll be tight enough, hand tight is all i did. great addition to the interior

Just be careful not to over-torque them.

It can be a real bummer when the details don't align with your vision for your ride.
But hey, it's awesome that you found them to be a good, sturdy product. Quality matters, right? Now, with your Race Red Bronco on the horizon, you want everything to be just perfect.
I did some digging and stumbled upon one online store. They seem to have quite the selection of fasteners, screws, and bolts. It might be worth giving their website a look at www.scrooz.com.au. Who knows, you might find the exact screws that'll make your Bronco pop in Race Red.

I thought you may want to see how customizing the RockWorkx Thumbscrew Fasteners looks.

You'll need to buy two sets but for me the results are well worth it and you can change it up whenever you want too. The two color set-up using the orange/black combination looks amazing with the Code Orange Bronco Raptor.

RockWorkx craftsmanship and attention to detail shows with this quality product.

I would also like to add what a completely enjoyable experience the purchase process from RockWorkx was. Quick and easy with fast shipping!

I did pre-ordered a couple sets of their new straps coming out. Black with orange stitching, should be a perfect fit to work with these. They will have several different colors of stitching to go along with the black straps!

I have the rear and upper screws. The driver's side upper top screw is CONSTANTLY backing out and causes water to leak into the cab. Anyone else have this issue?

I have not, mine have been tight with no issues.
A trick if you think the threads seems loose may be to wrap a little plumbers tape on the threads. This may help add enough resistance to keep from loosening up. I don't know though that is just something I would try.

I installed my Harkin Hoist yesterday and I will be taking the top off next time the weather allows so I have been looking at these. I noticed the factory bolts that hold the top on are not torqued very much or the bottom lip of the top distorts. Is this normal and are you supposed to just hand tighten ? Seems strange that that bottom lip is so thin and the design allows you to keep tightening the bolts to the point of warping it.

How would you attach the straps to the tie down bolt? I have the same ones but have hooks on the straps.

If you look closely at the end of the new straps I'm getting they will clip right on the tie down bolt.

I put Blue (not red) locktite 680 on mine and I am confident they will only come out when I want them to.
