Howdy all,
I went solar and now have free power, so time to change the Bronco for something electric. This is as near as you'll get to a new car while still being used, and it's had lots of upgrades. I suggest it's a "unicorn", or nearing being one as 2DR V6's are no longer available to get new, and this has only 6,200 miles, with over the top care and records. I'm a firm believer in engine break-in periods being a time of caution due care, and I have changed the oil (through Ford) twice already as a part of preparing conditioning for a long life (receipts included). I ordered this Build-to-order way back and had to wait 18 months to get it delivered. I am including all the "tchotchke's" that Ford send me to keep me engaged during that time. All unopened/unused. This is your time capsule to those days without the agony of actually waiting. Plus, as I mentioned this combination isn't a thing you can get anymore- you can get a 2DR Wildtrack, but the minute you want the 2.7L V6, it forces you to the 4Dr. Why? I have no idea, but I can assure you it's a fun combination.
The Bronco:
2022 Velocity blue OBX V6 with aftermarket Method wheels and BFG K02's, and Sasquatch flares (pics).
Mileage 6,200 - no, that's not a typo. It's under 7,000 miles. I don't drive all that much.
The condition is perfect save for a few small scratches on the inside of the tailgate door (pictured). That's the only blemish. The paint is perfect- it never met a car wash, no marks or swirls or any of that- like factory new. I clean gently with a clay bar and it has been recently ceramic coated with Griots. I know, I know- "but it's a Bronco! Take it off-road!" That's a fair criticism of me, not the Bronco. It's only ever been off-road on the beach.
Upfitter switches- the last two in use. #6 controls the Oracle LED "BRONCO" letters in the dash (see wiring loom- it's all sealed and weather ready), and #5 is power for the USB I installed top center of the dash. I took off the OBX stickers and added the classic Bronco emblems. I also didn't care for the OBX grille, so swapped to the Wildtrack grille. I added the Bestop SunRider quick-open front panels section because, Pacific Northwest weather. I have the original panels and will include them.
What I've been doing:
* Added hood struts
* Changed to Wildtrack grille
* Wolfbox wide mirrors (blue tint) with heater, BLIS, and turn indicator
* Dash USB, wired to Upfitter #5
* Magnetic phone charger pad
* Swapped OBX trim sticker to classic Bronco logo thingy
* Oracle lighting (lights up the Bronco letters) wired to Upfitter #6
* Installed Bestop SunRider soft-top panel
* Method MR705 wheels and BFG K02's from Custom Offsets
* Added switchable physical auto stop-start defeater (the mechanical/electric one, not FORSCAN)
* Installed Kicker Key 200 amp and Kicker Subwoofer using the plugnplaykits.com wiring harness. DSP calibration is done. The subwoofer is attached to a MOLLE panel in the drivers rear (no holes drilled or changes made). I thought that might be a space saving place for it, but I think if I wasn't selling it I think I'd move it under a seat or somewhere like that. When I get the system really bumping I can hear an occasional vibration of the interior trim panel, even though neither the MOLLE panel or woofer touch it.
* Polk Marine speakers all around (thinking of in case I get caught in the rain, and they all sound better than factory) and larger 6 inch Mabett pods in the rear
* Door sill guards
* Upgraded LED side marker lights on rear view mirrors
* Assorted quality of life and fun bits here and there. I used Forscan to get rid of the double honk annoyance and enabled "Bambi mode" (where the driving lights in the bumper don't go off when you turn the high beams on). The ignition switch is a red aluminum button that says "PANIC". It's held on by double sided tape, so if it's not your cuppa, no big deal to toss it. I tried to get many good photos showing the details, and of course if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer.
So if you like the idea of getting the "bought it new" experience with this barely used vehicle, and with some meaningful advantages. I have heaps of receipts and three programmed keys. I have the title in hand and everything ready for you to start enjoying.
I'm in the Tacoma, Washington area and am asking $55,000.
If the images give any trouble, I have them all on my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MbsBejhexQELLAZPPBEI8OjxrUemF89V?usp=sharing
And yes, there's a picture in there somewhere of my username and today's date. I did some clumsy photoshop type work on my license plate, my name and address on docs, and people in the background at the park, but nothing in any way altering the view of the vehicle. :)
