Hello everyone. Picked up my 2023 Ford Bronco Big Bend Sasquatch 18 months ago. Loved them since the day they were announced. Was sold on them after a demo at the Detroit Auto Show. After building a Maverick that I loved dearly, I went to the dealership for my 3rd of 4th recall fix in a year of owning it. A friend working for Ford said to look at Bronco prices, so I did. Low and behold the dealer had one on the lot that checked every box I wanted at a good price. So I traded the Maverick in before the recall was even finished.

Not planning to mod this one nearly as much as the cars/trucks it replaced (I tend to go all out). Aiming for simple mods that allow me to keep my warranty, have a little fun, and just enjoy the outdoors.

Upgrades:
Engine - MRT Exhaust/Roush Intake/Ford Racing Tune/Ford Racing catch can
Tires - BFG KO2 (Factory specced)
Misc - IAG rock rails/IAG mud flaps/Sinister Bronze accents

Plans:
Brakes - EBC pads/EBC rotors/braided lines
Engine - Bigger intercooler/bigger radiator
Exterior - Base grill/Modular steel bumper
Protection - Full skid plating/LineX under coating
Misc - AFE transmission pan/AFE rear diff cover

Pics of the Bronco in various states, plus a few of the previous projects it replaced. This thing has done 15K miles all around the Great Lakes (US & CAN). I love it more than anything. They'll have to bury me in it.

That’s what I’m talkin’ about! As I said before, you had me at “2-door.” 😎
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I'd be interested in what, specifically, you're considering for your skid protection and bumper replacement if you feel like discussing those. I will admit I am also a little curious as to your 'brakes' upgrades, like, in all seriousness, why?

Great build! Although you weren't going to go all out on the Bronco, I'd say you were still pretty busy on the mod list. haha
Glad you're really enjoying it.

I was going to get a full set from JCR since they're MI based, but a few of their products are 4-door only. So instead of paying a friend to modify them to fit, I'll likely grab the IAG kit.

The brakes on the Bronco feel a touch soft to me, but it's mostly due to OCD. It tends to run the show. I'll be doing EBC blanks and Red Stuff pads. I like the feel of braided lines and DOT4 fluid. This will not be a track build (for obvious reasons) like my previous cars, but I want to replicate some of the standard choices I make.

I am admittedly busy, but I bought the Sasquatch package to limit the need for more severe modding. My Civic was a track missile by the time I was done with it. This time around everything stays within warranty grounds, and I can swap everything out without needing a lift. Largely just cosmetic and quality of life stuff left.

I do not think you are OCD at all - there are now at least two of us - the brakes are... weird... What bumper set up are you going with? I'll have to take another look at the IAG skid offerings; thanks!
