I really like that style! It kind of reminds me of the 1st Raptor take offs I put on my F-150, then later went with a different, all black style.

Did you get a chance to weigh them? RTR has a reputation for misrepresenting wheel weights.

Not sure, I was in Tucson yesterday putting on these rims and someone told me a couple of days before there was going to be a big snow storm. There wasn't. It rained in Phoenix and Tucson and a bit on the way home and some wind and cool. That was probably what her friend was talking about. It has been cool so warm cloths are good.

No I never thought of that and wasn't aware. The first thing I did when I got home is weigh the alloy rims I took off (30 lbs). I could find the weight for the forged bead locks on line and they weigh 38 lbs. Since most have these people talk about them but the alloy not so much so I was curious to find out. The RTR are supposed to weigh 28 lbs. In my head I can feel the 2 lb. difference if I really try from 30 to 28lbs. It seems in any case they are about the same as I took off.

Yah probably not a big deal, especially on a Raptor. Just curious because the set I bought for my Boss Mustang weighed at least 10% more than advertised. Then I Googled RTR reviews and found other customers complaining.

Kinda sad. Never experienced any discrepancy with any other wheel manufacturer, and believe me I’ve bought plenty.

Looks. This is the only mod I have done for looks. Everything else had been underbody protection (plus tie rods) and next is RCI rock rails going on this month. Frame mounted protection. I am not a fan of the alloy OEM rims. They don't have the off road look I am used to. So I went with these because they are light, strong and give me the look I like. The added bonus is a half inch wider stance. It won't effect anything especially because I have beefed up my tie rods and it gives the vehicle a better overall look. I do like the OEM bead locks but my vehicle didn't come with them. If I had them I would have left it like it is.
