My Heritage Bronco 4-Door (Cactus Gray) arrived 7/6/23

Rear window removal is super easy! However, the steps in the little "quick start" booklet don't explain it properly ... at all. So, here is how it goes ...
You use the tools provided in the Bronco kit (comes in your glove box), which makes it easy. Remove the bolt that is on the inside rear end of the quarter window. Put that in your tool bag. Once you do this, the glass will pop out a tiny amount. It's not going to fall out, but it was easy enough to hold one hand on the outside side of the window (just in case) while removing the bolt. (I'm 5'6" for reaching reference.) Then you move outside and slide the glass portion out, horizontally, toward the back of the vehicle. There are 2 ball / socket joints that the glass pops into so it's a little wiggle to get them free, but very light pressure is all it takes. The glass isn't heavy, and was very easy to handle.

Like the WHITE on the top. Is it a semi gloss?

I wish I never saw the removable windows. Now I am wishing the Mod hard top issues were worked out sooner.

How is the build quality on the Mod Top? I really wanted one in gloss black, but, you know 26 Months was enough. Can you give an estimate of the sound level relative to the MIC top?

That’s the odd thing, she said there was not a bag for the windows however the manual says to place them in the storage bag. Wonder if the front roof bag has something for them?

My HE-MAN order was placed 9/24/22… on 1/19/23 got notice production was scheduled for 3/20, had 7 production date changes… actual production began 6/20 then stalled until status changed to Built on 7/7 then Shipped on 7/8. As of today 7/14 it has travelled 470 miles by rail and is 85 miles from its new home. Likely will travel by truck from there. Thinking it’ll be here next week 🐴

Reservation (First Edition): 7/13/20
Order Confirmed (Heritage): 10/18/22
Scheduled: 6/12/23 (email received 6/6/23)
Built: 6/13/23 (email received 6/27)
Shipped: 6/28/23 (email received 6/29)
Arrived at Dealer: 7/6/23

First email with production a date of 3/6/23 came on 1/17/23. There were weekly changes/delays until the final listed above.

I'm in South Florida, for reference on shipping time.

How is the build quality on the Mod Top? I really wanted one in gloss black, but, you know 26 Months was enough. Can you give an estimate of the sound level relative to the MIC top?

I'm pleased with it. No complaints, but I did notice a little wind noise at higher speeds that seems to be coming from the connection between the 2 front roof panels. I'm going to take them off and see if I can re-seat those to help.

It's painted, so it's pretty glossy - like the painted body.

That looks great! I could take or leave Cactus grey personally and don't like the look of the white top in reality (thought about painting mine until I saw the Heritage) but these 2 combined are a great fit. Nicely ordered.

No bags for the windows, but a bag for the front roof panels was included. Ford sells window bags. Here are some pics of the front roof bag that was included. It's basically a giant canvas bag with a thin piece of linen inside to separate the panels.

Looks great, @LB8! I'm usually not a big fan of Cactus Gray, but yours really stands apart. Best of luck with it and enjoy getting to know your Bronco. You've certainly earned it!
