Shadow Rider

Thu at 4:30 pm

Putting a little altitude and exploring the vast mountains here in Alaska. Gearing up to head towards Denali.
So far I've added the RC's Winch Mount, 9500 Winch and light bar, Safari Bar and MP Concepts LED Fog Lamps on the front end.
RC's Wide Angle Osram LED Ditch lights and mounts.
Interior I've installed RC's Molle Panel w/ interior light, and tailgate storage platform. Fitcam, front and read dashcam, Retivis AM/FM CB with Ghost Antenna. Enabled all of the GOAT modes and flashed ECM with Ford Performances ProCal. Also installed the Flowmaster FX Axle Back exhaust upgrade.
I have still to install RC's leveling kit and Spectrum overhead light bar.
Dealer installed Ceramic coding and under-coating to the exterior.
I have to wait a few weeks before I can wash it I'm told. Afterwards I'll try and post some more photos.

Nice rig and pictures! Never been to Alaska, but it's for sure one of my bucket list items. I love to ski so a trip there is in my future. Is Denali a National Park?

It's apart of the Denali National Park and Preserve. It's actually the tallest mountain in North America, sometimes it's been called Mt McKinley. They do a lottery up here, as only few are allowed to track in and only to a certain point, otherwise visitors are only allowed up to the Park Info center where they can travel various hiking trails.

I actually like the sound, even for the 2.7. It's by no means a 302 or a 429 sound but definitely comes out. It does come with a droan though, but my hearing's not like it used to be anyways. I have noticed more umph, but that could also be from the ProCal.

Do yourself a favor, grab some nylon washers & go back through that RC overhead molle & put a nylon washer in between the steel plates on each bolt.
It squeaks...A lot....when in off road or anything bouncy.
It was fine for me for a month on-road, then I ran a rally last weekend & it's getting the nylon this weekend lol.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll get some this weekend weather permitting. I still got some wiring that I'm routing through the overhead trough for the Ghost Antenna. I 3D printed out some retainers that'll clip into the Molle and keep the wiring more astatically appealing.

Nice. I've got my starlink mini mounted on mine & just used the ole zip tie method to keep my wiring in place lol.
