Hey y’all—I’ve had the chance to install and run the new Wolfbox G900 Tri Pro on my Bronco, and I’ve got some thoughts.

The big upgrade here? A third camera for the bumper to provide the missing front view Bronco owners without the High or Lux package know all too well.

Install & Setup
Install was mostly plug-and-play like the G900 Pro, but this time I ran the additional wiring for the bumper cam. I mounted mine right above the bumper. Install time was about an hour, and everything you need comes in the box.

Real-World Use
Here’s where this thing shines: If you’ve ever hit a steep climb and all you could see was hood, you know how sketchy that can be. The third cam gives you that low-angle view you’ve been missing. On the trails, perfect for spotting rocks, ruts, or trail drop-offs before you find them the hard way.

I’ve already put it to use on several trail rides and felt way more confident, especially for situations that got hairy fast.

Video Quality
Front camera (in-mirror): 4K
Rear camera: 2.5K
Bumper/front-facing cam: 1080p

The bumper cam’s 1080p resolution is adequate. Not ultra-crisp, but totally functional. One thing I did notice: night vision is better on the Tri Pro vs. the G900 Pro. That was my main complaint with the Pro, and while a firmware update helped at model, this new unit is clearly tuned better out of the box.

G900 Pro vs. Tri Pro
If you’re happy with your G900 Pro and don’t spend much time off-road, you're good. But if you want true three-camera coverage, especially a low front view for trail work, the Tri Pro is a no-brainer upgrade. For those of us without the High/Lux package and no factory front cam, this unit fills a critical gap.

Final Thoughts
If you’ve already got the G900 Pro and feel covered, no pressure. But if you’re building a trail-ready rig and want better awareness and visibility where it counts, the third cam might be one of the most useful upgrades you haven’t added yet.

As always, happy to answer questions if you're considering the upgrade.

Been running the TRI Pro since its release and you hit all the highlights, but a few changes would improve the device. First instead of making a wifi access point it would be more useful to have it become a wifi client and have a choice to store in cloud or locally or both. Or have the option since I pay for incar wireless. It would also allow for system updates (i.e firmware) which i have yet to see. I only bring that up because when your driving down the road and look at your rear camera and see cars that in reality are on your left but the display shows them on the right I had to pull over unplug and plug back in and it was resolved. This happened 3 times but was an easy fix.

The second and most import is the low light visibility. The cameras require light , even the upgraded rear camera, to provide even a minimal picture. If there is moderate light in the area then it is a vast improvement over the previous Pro (2-channel) version. If you travel down a country road as i often do the reverse camera becomes as saftey hazzard. You only get a grainy image and a massive glare from vehicles behind you. Night vision on these cameras akin to home security cameras like google or arlo would be better. I know that those cameras are a significant size increase but there has to be something out there that can be incorporated. Forget reading plates if your rear ended on one of these roads. lol. Other than those mentioned here it is leaps and bounds above other offerings.

Im running the G900 Pro and just use the second camera as a trail cam mounted to my front license plate on my winch. Love the cameras but had to disconnect the camera as it was causing the whole thing to malfunction. Have you had any issues with this. Also do you think I can replace the 2.5k camera with the 1080p.

No issues with the malfunction on my end. Not sure why you'd want to downgrade from the 2.5k to 1080. Wolfbox support has been great, so check with them on replacement. Also, firmware updates on the 2-cam G900 have helped with issues like a dim cam at night, etc.

Well just thinking if the 1080 will give me less issues I would try that. Ill contact them and see if they have a fix. plus I don't have an issue at night since it is located on the fron and the fogs and headlights.
