I went soft shackles as well. Haven’t needed em yet, so keep them stashed in the back with the 7/8” Bubba rope!

On the mod bumper, you have to add a steel shackle. The hole in the tow point is too small for the knot in the soft shackle. Screenshot_20220411-074217_Gallery.jpg

You’re making me second guess myself, and I will have to verify tonight, but …

put the “loop” end of the soft shackle through the front recovery point? The knotted end doesn’t need to pass through the hole…or am I crazy?!

Yep! Tonight when I get home. Yew! s tucked safely away in the garage…

I’m thankful for these somewhat technical, meaningful, exchange of ideas and opinions as opposed to the endless gripe sessions. So thanks to the OP and others for engaging!

So these 7/16 bubba shackles fit through the round hole with no issues. Larger diameter soft shackles may need to use the opening beneath the round one.

When more of us get our Broncos there will be less gripe sessions. Wait a second maybe we won’t have less gripe sessions but we will have more technical a discussions.
