I would err on the side of caution and cover the tire, but if you are proud of your rims/tire itself then it would be tragic to cover!

I thought about getting a cover initially, but now that I have my new wheels I can't imagine covering that up!

I've not found one I like that fits over a 37" tire, so I go without.

I say cover. If you use a soft cover I highly recommend Boomerang. They use a very heavy weight denim vinyl for their soft covers. Great quality. Had one on my Jeep for 15 years. Also you can customize them if you like. They also have the hard covers.

Since you have the best looking wheels I would not cover it. But if you do not garage it you might want to cover it.

Look into advancedlocks.com. They're on all five of my wheels. Pricey but worth it.

A professional crew can jack up and strip the wheels off a vehicle in just a couple of minutes. Locks will deter some but the auto-parts store wheel lock I see here won't impede them much. They'll either have an assortment of those locks on hand, or have developed techniques to defeat them.

Advancedlocks are conical, making getting a tool to grip and turn them is very difficult. They're unique, in that each one is individual, so an inventory of keys is impossible. But they are expensive. I spent about $150 for five locks plus two keys.

I'll also mention that I park on the street in a blue "sanctuary" city and state. So welcoming!

Wherever you go, there you are!

I personally think most rear tire covers are ugly... To each their own but not for me..

For myself, I don't want to fuss with anything when I'm already bummed about/possibly running late if I get a flat, but I think they look nice and serve a purpose.

Your goal is to present possible thieves with an increase in 1) complexity 2) time and 3) exposure. That translates into complicating the bad guys' efforts, forcing him to need more tools and/or gear, time to get his nasty work done, and the greater possibility that he (or they) will be discovered. Regarding visibility, where you park and exposure to optical surveillance count.
