Wheels Recommendation for Outer Banks?

I'm trying to find replacements for the stock wheels on the 2022 Outer Banks, as the stock wheels don't look too attractive. I'm having a hard time finding aftermarket wheels that fit. If I understand correctly, the 18-inch stock wheel is 7.5 inches wide, and has an offset of +55mm. But most decent-looking aftermarket wheels I find online have minimal or negative offsets, which would make the tires stick out way too much. Below are some preferences I have, and would greatly appreciate any recommendations or suggestions!
  • Black
  • Slightly wider stance (less offset), but won't cause tires to poke outside the fenders more than 1 inch. So maybe an offset between 20mm and 45mm?
  • Compatible with stock tires, so they can be installed with minimal effort and without any other modifications to the car.
  • I'd like the new wheels to open up options if I choose to upgrade the tires in the future to be slightly wider (275mm or so) and larger (33" for now, potentially 35'' in the long term).

General aesthetics I'm going for, but I'm open to ideas:

I would say check out RealTruck, they have a pretty big selection and I've seen +20mm offset. I swear I've seen more then that as well.

Personally I'd go with a 17" wheel, I'm just not a fan of bigger wheels. And yes, to me, 18" wheel is that much bigger.

I do not like the Outer Banks wheels at all. But once I saw them powder coated all black I changed my mind.

For reference they are same wheels that they put on the Ranger Splash. Except in matte black.

I agree, the black painted OBX wheels look a lot better than the standard version.

Here is another option although they currently show out of stock. I think it is a great looking wheel and their prices are reasonable. Not sure if they would stick out a lot or not.

Man those black rims look so much better! If only they were available as an option on the stock Bronco! It crossed my mind to have the Outer Banks wheels painted black, but with the cost I might as well just get new wheels and tires.

Thanks for the recommendation! I just looked it up here - actually +30mm is perfect.

And since I'm going to replace the wheel anyway, I agree that going for 17" wheels would be better for me:

Personally I'd go with a 17" wheel, I'm just not a fan of bigger wheels. And yes, to me, 18" wheel is that much bigger.

So here's another set of wheels I've been considering, on sale on MBGram.

As for the tires, a friendly wheel & tire expert at extremeterrain.com recommended the Ironman All Country A/T 285/70R17 tires, which seem to be excellent value.

You could always wait and try to find a set of Ranger Splash take-offs. Or if you wanted to go 17s Ranger Sport or Tremor wheels. They can be had pretty cheap.

I added a set of Ranger Raptor wheels and some Sasquach Takeoff tires...needed a 1" spacer to get the same stance as factory Sasquach.
