No I don't want to change my wheels, hence the need for spacers. According to the dealer, a 35x12.5 won't work on stock wheels b/c the offset is not great enough, which will cause rubbing issues. I've run 12.5 wide tires on 7" wide rims in the past without issues. So that's not a concern really. Dealer says 35x12.5's will rub unless I buy wheels with the correct offset.

Dealer is correct you'd need a spacer. If you want to avoid wheel spacers you can run the following:

• 35x11.50R17
• 285/75R17
• 255/85R17 (the "pizza cutter")
• 35x10.50R17 (rare)
• 290/75R17 (very rare)

Ultimately depends on how important that 12.5" width is to you.

I also avoid wheel spacers at all cost, and once my factory KO2s are warn down I'll probably be getting a set of 35x11.50R17. If I were buying today I'd be buying the Falken Wildpeak R/T, but it'll depend what's available when the time comes.

Yeah it's fairly limited. The best option in that size is definitely the Toyo Open Country A/T III. In my opinion the second best All-Terrain tire on the market after the BFG KO2.

I would also consider the 285/75R17. That size is just shy of 34 inches while 35x11.5R17 tires are just shy of 34.5-inches. Half an inch difference isn't substantial enough to invest in wheel spacers in my opinion, and there are a lot more tires with that size.

Thanks for that info, that's definitely helpful in making a decision. I do love the Toyo's. I had the A/T II on a truck a few years ago and the new A/T III looks sick. I'm lifting it 2" so I don't want to go with too short of a tire. Might look silly. In the end I may have to just suck it up and get new wheels. If I can find someone local to buy my stockers that would help offset the cost.
