I added a set of Method Racing 703's with their bead grip technology. I went with 0 offset and they really fill out the SAS fender flares.

I have been infatuated with Ford engines, since I left the Bowtie Boobs. I love the 427's of the sixties. The 351 Cleveland, which I own a 1970 Montego with the Cleveland 351 4-v. It's a California car project. Who can forget the flathead, and the Windor Boss 302. Don't know much about the Coyote 5.0. But a buddy of mine bought a 2018 F-150 reg cab short wheel base with it. It is a screamer. So that is why I decided to buy a new Ford. Actually two, a 2022 Maverick. which I ordered, and the 202? Bronco I reserved with ford in 2020! Still waiting. My avatar is the exact Bronco I want. It's cool about your racing day's. What vehicle was your nemesis, if I might ask. I traded my 2018 Dodge Challenger in on my Maverick. Baja on!

Those LS-powered Cameros and TA's were tuff back in the day. They loved the nitrous. I ran mostly NMRA races so I ran other Ford-powered cars. I'm jealous of the Montego, I always loved the front end on those cars.

Thanx BYBOTIE. I bought it site unseen, bad idea. It is a California car, have the original owner paper work. Car owner lived in Modesto. This guy made this Montego a street drag car. :-( Forgot to say that on the phone. But I have been getting original parts from all over since I bought it. Finding Torino dual sport mirrors have been the worst thing so far. I believe Larry Shinoda was the major player in front end design at Ford. He had that signature "beak" look. (his design) All FOMOCO cars had his influence in the seventies. Ford "stole" him from GM laffin my but off about that!!! Larry was on the design team for the '63 Corvette, which stuned the world in '63 along with the Jaguar xk series.... Our beloved 1966 Bronco was designed by McKinley Thompson Jr. It was a great success for Ford selling double the predicted sale projection. Sorry so long. There was a guy down the street from my parents house who bought new, 1970 Cyclone, a competition orange, 429, hood scoop, spoilers, & hidden head lights. I dreamed about that car. It was my dream car.... I was 12 years old...lol Those were the days. My other dream cars were the 429 Cougars, and Mustangs. My parents bought a 1970 demo Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible. It was loaded with every available option. I learned to drive with car. It would smoke its rear tires. My dad complained to to my mom that, that car was wearing it's tires out fast and that it was a demo car we should have bought the new black convertible 351 v-8 instead. :-) Never ever told my parents what I did with their car. I can't imagine a Boss 429! BTW your Mach 1 in Oxford white looks killer!!! Love it.

"came home in a '69 Torino Cobra" AWESOME. Those fast backs were signature STAND-outs! Just beautiful looking cars. Wide grille and the C pillar. Just love them.
