One of the first mods I do is remove the bulky 35 inch tire on the back. I have not had a flat in 10years and if I did...AAA can help me no prob.

I searched everywhere for a good tire delete kit but only found this over priced kit here: https://www.bodyguardbumpers.com/bronco-spare-tire-delete/

Was wondering if you guys had any tire delete kits you recommend?

Thanks a ton!

RTR and DV8 both have them coming out as well as other AM's (forgot the others that do). Not sure what that "over priced" price is there but guessing you'll be in the $200-300 range easy

Just wondering how you do it? Whether it's west coast rocks and desert, PNW/east coast muddy ruts and roots or going too low when airing down, how do you not get flats? Do you carry a tire repair kit instead?

Seems very foolish to me, especially on a vehicle that is intended, by design, to go farther away from civilization than most.

I've had the experience, enough times, of being along a major highway, but far between two populated places, with a flat tire, having to wait for hours for a tow truck to tow me to a tire shop. Stupidly, the original owner of my present car opted not to have a spare tire. It was an extra-cost option, that the original owner chose not to buy. Where a spare tire was supposed to be, it instead had a big tire-sized foam styrofoam spacer with a smaller cutout containing a compressor and a can of sealant.

That said, I can easily enough relate to preferring, if timing and distance are favorable, to have my car towed to a tire shop rather than swapping in the spare myself, but I cannot see any sense in denying one's self that latter option, if necessary.
May the Ford be with you, always.

Well, I'm sure something like the spare delete is good for those who dont know how or wont/dont change thier own tire on thier Mall Crawler that sees dirt only if it was washed away in a gutter. So not everyone will be out where the air is fresh and the views are breathtaking in thier very capable and awsome Bronco.

To the OP's point. As far as I know, there aren't any current spare delete options available yet for the Bronco, the way they are for the Jeep, but I'd think there are companies working on it now, seeing as it's a common mod in the Jeep community.

And @markmichuda , you do you. The only person that has to like your Bronco, or your mods, is you. A lot of BN likes to think we're better than B6G, but there's still some elitism here, some people will poo-poo your choices if they don't fit THEIR vision of a Bronco. The only vision of a Bronco that matters is yours.

Federal law mandates vehicles must be manufactured with a 3rd brake light. Keeping it depends on state law. Check with your state to see if it's required.

In my state if Missouri, only 2 lamps are required

Most require it for state inspections, but yes a few still haven't adopted the 86 law. But gives LE PC
