Swapped out all six of the speakers and what a difference in sound quality. I can’t believe that Ford put the junk speakers that they did in the Bronco. I have owned a quite a few new vehicles in the last 10 years all with decent sound but this one was disappointing to say the least.

I put in 4” Rockford Fosgate. I went do do the 6.5” in the panels buy your feet but after doing one and it didn’t sound any better so I stayed with the stock ones they are decent. The 4” speakers are junk cardboard speakers. They’re not plug and play just some basic wiring. It takes about an hour to do all 4.

Did you consider upgrading the Lux package with the B&O sound system?

Rockford Fosgate R14X2. Like I said don’t bother changing the 6.5” speakers it’s not worth the hassle they just provide all you bass.

I have been considering a speaker change when I receive mine, as well as an under the seat, powered sub.

I’m interested to see if those pods on the back can be swapped out for larger pods to hold some 6.5 or similar. With a proper amp and speakers, 6.5’s in the pods, kick panels and some upgraded 3” in the dash might be how I roll.

"Bass blockers" lol
In the audio world, these are part of the crossover network. Co-axial speakers should already have a coil/caps to limit low frequency audio from going to the tweeters, and the factory head unit should already be limiting sub-frequencies from going to the 4" drivers.
I imagine the 6.5 are probably getting full audio spectrum (they'll just not be able to reproduce higher frequencies.)
