Anyone have any experience with Corbeau seat heaters? Thinking about ordering a pair to put on a base and wire to an Aux switch. Any real world reviews or reasons this would or wouldn't work would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm curious to find this out myself. I would like to have heated seats but don't want all the other BS that comes with them in the Mid package. Decided I'd either try an aftermarket option or wait for someone to wreck a Bronco with the Mid package and scavange the seats, etc...

Never heard of them. Then again, I've also never had heated seats. But I will add this, I've heard from multiple Ford dealers it's $500 to have heated seats added to your current seats. And since this brand is $200 + tax, and however much for install (unless you DIY it), might just be a safer bet to have your dealer do it. Just a thought anyways.

The mid package will cost less than aftermarket. Just curious, what other "BS" don't you want?

The biggest thing I don't care for is the Co-pilot360 and the adaptive cruise/steering correction but also see no need for illuminated sliding vanity mirrors (I haven't worn makeup since I was young and needed the money), self dimming rearview (c'mon, it's the flip of a flipper thingy), reverse sensing (it has a camera already) or sync-4/navigation (I use Apple CarPlay). I ordered a manual trans so the remote start wouldn't even been included (still have to pay for it though) which leaves heated seats, a 110 outlet and dual zone climate. The chances of me using the 110 outlet are close to nil and I've found that when I drive a car with dual zone I usually punch the sync button so the only benefit of that would be picking a temp and letting it do the auto thing.

I came to the conclusion that it's not worth $1,500 to me for heated seats and not having to turn a dial to pick a temp, especially when all those other included systems are just something that can go wrong, not to mention that adaptive cruise is annoying as hell when traveling on the interstate. Set it at 70mph and the next thing you know you're following some car going 63mph for ten miles before you realize it, not to mention timing a swing out into the passing lane when gaining on tractor-trailer with traffic to your outside. Most cars you can just hold the cruise button for 3-seconds and disable the adaptive part, but you're still paying for it in the mid-package. Not sure with Ford products, but in some rentals I've driven for work you can't disable steering correction and that drives me insane as I have a tendency to fight the bounce back. Not nearly as relaxing for long drives. It would be great if you text and drive but I don't.

$200 for a heated seats, me installing it myself, I'm interested to see what people think.

I can't tell you how nice the adaptive cruise control is on the Bronco. Absolutely loved it in traffic and just going down the highway (This was LA holiday traffic even). Easiest cruise control interface that I've ever had and the adaptive part (which I have had on previous vehicles like our Yukon, Audi and 4Runner) is light years better than those other vehicles. The lane control didn't do squat though. The adaptive cruise control is intuitive and so easy to start, stop, and adjust.

I've always used Dorman heaters. You can get them on Amazon for well under $100. Lasted years no problems and worked well. I always installed them under seat covers which made it easy. I wouldn't want to mess with putting them under the factory seats though.

It comes with Co-Pilot360 which is an "...advanced suite of standard driver-assist technologies...", which includes adaptive cruise.

I'm just not a fan of adaptive cruise as the radar sensors and such which make it work are something that has the potential to fail. I'm not saying they will, but it's another bell and whistle that has that potential. I'm a huge fan of the K.I.S.S. principle.

Good to know on the Dorman heaters. That was my plan as well, putting them under some nice, heavy duty seat covers if I go that route.

I'm with you on the mid package. On most of the trims you can't get the mid package and keep the manual. I've spoken to a local shop here and 400.00 to install heated seats versus 600.00 from my Ford dealer. I'm not sure which route to go with. For me it'll depend on how the settings for the heating work, and where they mount the controls. I don't want to use one of my aux switches for this.

. Not sure if this helps. From a performance stand point. the heated seats on my BL with the marine grade vinyl work better than every headed seat I’ve owned. Ive owned many. On the highest setting after about 1min you can fry an egg on the seat. FACT
