Has anybody ordered a hitch/rear cargo carrier that they would recommend for the 4dr? Top mount may be easier I’m sure, but would prefer a rear carrier if any system works with the spare tire and trunk

Not exactly what you were looking for, but I personally have been looking at this:

Worthwhile to note I don't yet have my Bronco so I haven't done my due-diligence yet. The product itself is solid, I know that for sure. But I haven't checked to see if the added weight is something the Bronco rear gate can support.

Was initially thinking something like the Yakima Exo system, but wasn’t sure if anybody had tried a swing base with the Bronco.

I hadn’t seen the spare tire platform though, pretty cool

Yeah... I imagine you're going to have to put one heck of an extension on that thing to get it past the spare tire.

My brother-in-law has that exact unit though on his Toyota RAV4 (I think? not a Toyota person). It's pretty slick.

I was looking at this, too, but apparently the rear swing gate isn't rated to carry anything more than the 35" spare tire. Bummer.

We’re in the same boat pretty much. Still waiting for our Bronco but also looking to do a hitch mounted cargo carrier in the short term after we get our 2 door. Baby step on the way to a trailer.

We’re concerned about the amount of swaying any of the hitch mounted systems will do that are extended far enough from the hitch to clear the spare.

Funny that the Jeep in the photo has a Sasquatch sticker on back window.
