Recommendation for front winch mount retaining the OEM modular bumper and adaptive cruise control

I am looking for a recommendation for a front winch mount that works with the modular bumper and does not impede nor require relocating the adaptive cruise control sensor. I am sure that any solution required the relocation of the front camera.

JCR Offroad has one but it seems to partially block the adaptive cruise control sensor.

Thanks.

Rough Country has one that is pretty popular. It relocates the front two parking sensors but leaves the ADD sensor untouched.

It will block the front camera, so you should combine it with a camera relocate kit from Mountains2Metal.

The Rough County is unique in that it provides an area to mount a 20 inch light bar.

I’ll be installing mine as soon as my Heretic Amber Light Bar ships from Bronco Nation.

+1 on rough country, plan on ordering one in the next week or so, although I don’t have ACC or fancy sensors to worry about. Another that looked like it will mount without interference is the Mabett winch mount.

JCR makes a lowering Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) relocation bracket along with an installation video.

The main concern is not just the ACC but rather the intercooler…. Compressed intake air heats up and leads to detonation…. Thus the intercooler is an important feature for engine performance…. IMO…Even the ACC cover is and obtrusive blockage of the intercooler….

Secondly, the camera blocked by most winch set ups messes with the 360 view (in reverse) and of course the front camera view when in Rock crawl mode.

A hidden winch is the obvious choice… but the lower location with the (2.7/10 sp auto) has a transmission cooler right where the winch would go… Rough Country makes hidden winch with a relocation kit for the cooler which is a “bear” to install… and goes beyond your typical weekend warriors skills….

Ultimately, when waterfording immersed in water the hidden winch becomes an issue so the winch chosen must be waterproof…
Also, the synthetic line will be a mess when silt and debris get everywhere…. Thus maintaining the hidden winch could potentially become a chore…

I too am looking for a winch that I can run using the HD modular bumper…. And most importantly not mess with the ACC/ block the intercooler and have to relocate the camera…

This afternoon I was looking at Mabett’s winch bracket…. This appears very promising compared to RC and JCR… with their claim with a fully operational 360 camera/cleaner, and fully functional ACC. I own their mudguards and they are a quality product…. I need to have more confidence in this product before I pull the trigger….. Please let me know if others have installed this product 😁😁😁😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Thanks

I installed the Rough Country mount yesterday. It is great. I had to modify the relocated parking sensor holders more than what is shown in the instructions to accommodate the winch, but nothing a couple of well places zip ties couldn’t fix. You also have to trim the plastic bumper covers. That was slightly unnerving at first. The first one took me 15 minutes to trim. I didn’t wan’t to over trim so I made a series of incremental modifications until it fit. The second one took me 1 min . I also recommend getting the camera relocation bracket from Mountains 2 Metal and install it at the same time because you have to remove the grill to remove the camera and the winch once installed will not allow you to remove the grill.
