Interesting find. This portable winch is on the right track, but doesn't have the power needed to pull a stuck rig. However, it may help if a little nudge is all that is needed for front, side or reàr pull. Definitely has more "portable" pulling power.

It's a windlass, which means it would be easier to control once you get the hang of it.
