Thought this was interesting, opinions/thoughts? I’m no salesman or affiliated with any company…

Thinking $500 with the required accessory Molle mount also is too high for this.

Also looks like will prevent full opening of tailgate.

Well , I does say it has a tailgate stop , which I assume is still at 90 degrees.
It’s the added cost of everything else needed that bothers me.
I’ve always liked the jerry can look and exterior carrying method though.

I open mine well past 90 degrees all the time. Makes it easier to load unload.

Oh yeah,
I understand that.
Just saying it would probably still open to 90 at the least I would assume.
It’s not for me , but it may be appealing to someone else.
I’m like you,
I like the gate to have full opening range as well.

This strap system from Bas Ass Tents worked great (and it's easily removable):

The quality of RTR products is as good as it gets and at $349 plus the cost of a proper Gerry can is not bad considering the capacity. Alternatives might be the TrailRax side panels which require the roof rack and the RoamAdventure tanks for gas or water etc.

How many offroad miles are you folks traveling? Are you over landing? Just curious.

Well I said 500 because its 349 and you have to buy the 150 accessory plate thing for it. I have the trailrax roof rack with the side panels. I’m just looking at things that i think look cool. Like someone replied, I always like the look of the Jerry can on the back. To answer you @MIGeezer I’ll probably never need any of that stuff but I would like to be able to if I wanted to. When the time comes I don‘ t want to be getting stuff and trying to see what works and doesn’t when it’s go time. Like I went beach riding and tested out my tire deflator and stuff at home before I left. I go by the old Boy Scout motto “Be Prepared”

I use the set up from Rockslide Engineering (~$100) for a pair of 2 gallon Rotopax (~$150).

Here’s a pic on my Jeep - couldn’t find a Bronco pic, sorry. It’s easily added/removed from either.

Seeing as I didn't win Powerball, I'll pass on this. (I didn't even buy a ticket.)
I knew this would be an expensive hobby, but this is ridiculous.
