Would love to get it. However, my OBX, built on 1/19 is sitting on Ice Mountain waiting for a module while the exact same builds are streaming out of the factory. Ford is incompetent.

Ordered mine last week, it will be delivered on Monday.

I can't stand what Ford did with the back, it's completely useless and a pain in the ass. Looks like this will make it a little bit better.

Edit: Installed this on BIL's Bronco yesterday. Definitely like the simplicity of opening the rear now, and it raises it up an extra 1/2" or so. Still doesn't change the fact that Ford's design sucks! But at least it sucks a little less now.

Just got mine in the mail. Installing this weekend. Will be so much nicer for loading stuff into the back with my hands full.

I finally got around to installing mine a few days ago. It looked like a Must Have for the Bronco, and it is. Easy install too.

Also added auto start/stop eliminator.

How is the start stop eliminator? Is it the same ones PickensPartyof5 installed? Was wondering how much of a pain it is to remove the interior console section to add.

It’s the most unnecessary mod of all time.

FYI - installed the ezlift tonight.

Mostly Easy. I made it way more difficult
with 1 mistake - posting so you don’t make the same.

I followed the video instructions, but after installing the top portion with the hydroloc bars, I neglected to tighten up the allen bolts.

So when I fully extended and tested, the passenger side popped out - extending the hydroloc rod (which is incredibly difficult to compress and get back into place).

other than that, the install was really easy.

The end result is also great. much easier to lift from retracted to up. But more importantly, lifting the back window to get access to the cargo space is SO much easier.

Just like the hyrdolics for the hood, it makes shutting it take a lot more force. But easy to get used it I think.

Very much worth the effort and $.

Just a heads up to everyone over here, there is a post on B6G about the shocks rubbing the pillar. Appears to be when top is fully open.

It hasn't been discussed far enough to know if it's been installed with the brackets being incorrect or if it's a design flaw. IAG said to check alignment of soft top as well (from people removing top completely).

I'm just putting it here so people are aware just in case.

I installed my set yesterday, I will keep an eye on it myself. But I also don't plan on having my top fully open much either.

Just an FYI for anyone using the IAG soft top assist. Saw this posted on the FB Bronco group. Just something to be mindful of.

⚠️DAMAGE WARNING⚠️

*Update* Adam Kennedy from IAG has reached out to help resolve this and we will be working through it to try and figure out the cause and a resolution for the damage tomorrow. I will update the post with what we find out and decide.

I got my Bronco last Thursday (3/10) and my IAG Struts arrived on Saturday (3/12) so I of course eagerly put them on my Bronco the same day. They went on great with easy to follow instructions and I was loving using them. That is until tonight when I started hearing a rattling noise on the passenger side rear of my Bronco. I went back to try and find the source of the noise to find that the IAG struts had been rubbing against the D pillar (arms over the rear of the bronco). In fact they had rubbed clean through the paint on both my Bronco and the strut.

My initial thought was surely the strut had bent or something was loose and causing it to be out of alignment but I thoroughly inspected it and there is nothing bent, angled wrong, moving irregularly, or loose. Also, the driver side is not rubbing at all and has a healthy gap between it and the D pillar. I don’t know what caused this whether the bracket it mounts to is angled slightly different or what but there is nothing from the top itself even contacting the strut other than at the attachment points.

I really hope IAG Performance makes this right by paying to have the paint fixed on my Bronco. Unfortunately, their customer service is closed all weekend so I won’t be able to reach them until Monday morning most likely. Also, their website says “Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.” So unless they stand up and do the right thing I will be out of luck.

I made this post right away so others wouldn’t fall victim to my same situation. If you have these installed already, check to see if they are close to your paint when the top is in the down position.

I will update y’all when I get an answer from IAG on how they are going to handle this.

I’ve had mine installed for a couple weeks, top up most of the time, no visible damage to report.

I have put the top all the way down for 1/2 day or so after strut install. I’m still very careful when raising lowering and make sure that it’s latched into position.

I also have manipulated the top a lot when installing roll bar PPF and the rear cargo enclosure.

Stinks that people are having issues, and another reason to be thankful for all in the community contributing (owners, waiters/anticipators, vendors, and manufacturers)!

Thanks for relaying that!

I'll check mine more closely today and see if the struts are indeed touching on either pillar side. Will report back once I do, so we have another data point.

So confirmed, I see some rubbing on the driver side of mine.

I did however see, and confirm, that IAG is sending out replacement brackets which are spacing out the struts further from the rollbars.

They responded to me, that they are sending those out to everyone who ordered the original struts. with a replacement kit. And that all new orders would be the new brackets.

Pretty solid response and proactive action from a company. I was genuinely impressed.

Its a great, helpful idea but, I have concerns. I would like to see someone put the back section up and then down to latch with the windows on. I have to let mine drop a little to latch properly and I'm worried these will prevent that or wear out the material from having to push it down in a manner thats inconsistent with the normal operation.

Small price to pay for the unbelievably more convenient ability to open the top by clicking the latches one handed.

Sooooooo much easier.

By far, the best mod I’ve done so far. Easily.

It’s a little tug to pull the sides down and latch in place. Similar force on the latches to what your likely doing with the prop rod. But I see what you’re saying.

I have the rear cargo storage (with the raised lid) and this complements perfectly since I can easily raise and lower both without interference. The prop rod impedes raising and lowering the lid, with the IAG struts there’s no prop rod to block the lid…

Ooh, I was curious about the secure cargo solution.
How much it leaves space wise . Seemed to me
to cut the cargo area into a weird split making luggage or random odd shaped cargo goofy to load.
