Hello fellow Bronco nerds. Hoping to get some help choosing which roof rails we should get for our 4 door hard top.
I’ve tried searching forum threads and haven’t stumbled onto the info I need so apologies if this is duplicate, just point me in the right direction.
We do a lot of camping and have a roof top tent our use roof boxes often. Also don’t want the roof rails to sacrifice the ability to easily remove the front sections of the top. The OE option looks like it would work well but at $940 I’m hoping there’s another more affordable product out there.

Thanks all!

Wherever you go, there you are!

For use with a RTT I think most would recommend the TrailRax.. I believe you can still remove the roof panels with the rack mounted.

They also offer PaxRax mounts for the sides of the Bronco that attach directly to their roof rack.

I've not heard of any complaints about the TrailRax rack and most that have it, praise it.

It is a bit pricey, especially if you add the PaxRax add ons but like the old saying goes ---> buy once - cry once..

Good luck!

If you decide to go with TrailRax, you might be able to save a few bucks as a BN member.

If you did the OEM, you would still have to add a platform to it. That'll add more $$

Thanks for the recommendation! I’m definitely weighing this option.

Apologies for the basic question… but why would the OEM need a platform? The rooftop tent we have just sits on rails.

My OEM would not work without a platform to secure items.
If you have a single item you could buy brackets for attachments but if you're starting from zero, I don't recommend the OEM.
