Yes it is brand new to the market but I have seen some pics on here of someone else using this same mount about a month ago... Want to put my 2 cents in as well...

VERY impressed. Nothing and I mean nothing is higher and tighter.... It places all of the pulling forces right between the frame rails behind the frame crush zone. This is right where you want them. Structurally this is well made. 1/4 steel. And from the front? ZERO additional length in front of the bumper.... It does require a high mount intercooler and only allows for a short drum winch....10,000lb and 50 foot of pull? I can live with that and a couple of extensions.

Nice install...Ford really messed up on this issue with the Bronco. Jeeps have such a nice install and theirs doesn't look aftermarket. Can I ask what the cost of this is? If you had to have it installed what is your guess for that as well? Do you need to add any extra suspension to the front for the weight?

I still do not like them mounted out in front of a Jeep UNLESS the frame is reinforced.... It is not like the old days... No problem with that mount in the old days. Now we have "crush zones" mandated by the government (I actually have no issue with this mandate) because it saves lives; the occupants and whomever they hit. BUT it makes the frame considerably weaker in front of the "crush zone".... and frame reinforcements eliminate the "crush zone" making any front end collision considerably more dangerous.

Cost? Well I got a couple hundred off for being one of the first ten orders... I think the mount is about $700... BUT you have to get the high mount intercooler, you can get the Wagoner for about $900 I think or if you have the ACC you have to go with the Mishimoto which has the ACC relocate mount at about $1300... Then there is the Winch... It HAS to be a short drum so there are only two that I know of (you could do the cut and weld of the old pirate 4x4 days gone by) There is the Warn at about $2500 or the brand new Mile Marker competition series that is only about $1500 (for now)....

Install... Well I think it should be able to do this in maybe 4 to 5 hours... (I take much longer because I am old, slow, but meticulous and check everything 5 times before committing)... so that times your local shop labor rate.

Weight? maybe 100/120 pounds... I am not running stock coils... I am running 500 lbs coils and it did drop my ride height about 3/4 inch.

Clean?... do not let that fool you... It has been very dirty in the past. that "clean" takes a lot of work after every single ride on the trail.
