I am thinking about buying one of the baskets on the Ford accessories site. I can't tell from the pictures or description how easy it is to take it on an off. It looks like there are some parts that the attach to the Bronco but I only want to leave the basket on when I need it.

Has anyone bought one who has an opinion on them or more info?

Thanks!

I have not bought the one from ford. But i do have a Rukrac for my squatch. If u haven’t looked at yet, maybe something u would be interested in. Have had mine for several months and very pleased. Good 4th sale going on as well. 🐎

Thanks. The Rukrac is easy to take on and off, I assume?

Yes…. It has a “t” bar that goes into the receiver that helps support the weight and the additional basket/table actually mounts to the spare tire carrier w/ lug extensions that stay on all the time if u so choose. There are multiple versions and I can only speak on the one I have that has the basket/bike carry on the lower part and the table on the upper part. Edit*** the tailgate will still open with the cargo basket area attached so there is no interference.

I bought the one from Ford and I haven't used it yet. Had it a year. You wont be able to open your tailgate because the tire hits it, which was a downside for me because I want to let the dog out during stops when travelling. So at the moment, its collecting dust until I sell it.
