Best bike rack options or a 6th Gen? Early thought was a Thule hitch rack, but not sure.

I haven't purchased one yet. However, I was leaning towards the 2-bike rack offered by Küat, the Sherpa 2.0, and the Pivot accessory to open my tailgate while the rack is installed.

Did the Sherpa quality stand out? Have you used one before? I am new to the hitch rack.

I have the Ford Bronco Mountain E Bike on order. In anticipation I have installed a two inch trailer hitch. On it, I have the Yakima swing arm. For now I use it with my Trailer Hitch basket. Once e bike arrives and spring comes I will want an E Bike carrier for ONE bike.Look forward to watching this thread for ideas.

I have the Thule, if you go that route, make sure to get the hitch extension tube. I've actually used the basket to carry bikes, using a strap between the bike and spare...works well in a pinch.

I haven't gotten one yet. I just bookmarked it when I first started looking. It's got the features I like.

I had a swing-type hitch rack for my Jeep that I plan to use with my Bronco. It's more cumbersome, but it moves the bikes out of the way of the tailgate to get inside.

Just out of curiosity on this topic, has anyone ran across a decent recumbent trike carrier, that would allow me to roll the trike onto the carrier, instead of lifting.
I have a concept in mind, but cant believe someone hasnt already built one and I cant seem to really find anything, without getting into some stupid money.

If you have a decent bike (> $1500) go with the 1up with a hitch extender, thank me later.

Thanks for your help on this.

Cool, and I'll give you a bit more unsolicited advice. Steer clear of that Bronco e-bike. You can do way better with something like a Santa Cruz Heckler SL, Trek Fuel Ex, etc.

It's just a money grab for Ford, one size fits all, gtfo.
