Anybody installed the Oracle[3 per side]fog lights.See the install videos but wonder if light pattern needs to be adjusted. These are the $370.00 lights.Includes on + off switch but also instructions for Aux Switches which are on my WT Build.82299FF1-ABD0-4CEB-AAB1-3B79795FCC7D.jpeg

Mine sat on my workbench for a while, and I finally installed them last weekend. I did opt to use the aux switches, which made it really easy. Driving at night and flipping them on and off, I can see where they hit, but I haven’t checked the aim formally. The bracket is “supposed” to be pre-aimed, but I can’t confirm. I can say the quality is very good, and install was easy

Thanks for the reply. Is there wire from an Aux switch close to the bumper location?Their web site shows a switch that sticks to the dash but not what I want.I have a vin + window sticker but no Bronco yet.Nice looking Badlands. Also getting mixed messages on the 7 qt oil pan which is in the manual but dealers are saying 6.Long time Ford guy but this BS is getting old. Also had to fight with Dealer about Price Protection as I have a 7/17/2020 reservation + a stack of mails from Ford about them.If it wasn't for the fact Dealer would love me to cancel would tell them to shove it!!! Again thanks for the info. Enjoy your ride!

No problem glad to help, as far as the wiring goes it’s a little confusing at first but then when you step back and think about it it makes a lot of sense :-). When you stand in front of the engine with the hood open, in the far right corner next to the firewall there is a whole series of wires that are capped off. There are six wires that are power from the switches inside, and there’s five wires The go to pre-determined locations within the vehicle. So effectively what you do is choose one of the six wires from the switches, and then connected to the target wire you want to utilize to send power to. In this case right behind the radiator there’s a wiring harness, and out of that wiring harness there’s a little purple wire with a gray stripe that’s capped off. This matches up to one of those wires in that upper right corner of the engine bay. The digital owners manual inside the car will show you two things, it’ll show you the amperage for the six switches, switch one and two or more than 10 A switch three through six are all 10 amp switches, or circuits however you want to describe it :-) In this case, what I did was use switch three which is a 10 amp circuit and connected it to the purple wire with the gray stripe to send power to the front of the engine. On the Oracle website they have some PDFs you can download that effectively show you how to cut the wiring harness to support using the aux switches. But in reality it’s pretty easy to figure out, hope that helps :-)

we were really fortunate with our dealer, they had announced that they would honor MSRP way back when it was first announced and people were doing the hundred dollar reservation. Then when Covid and lockdown and everything else hit the dealer continue to communicate and assure everyone that they would continue to honor MSRP. So for us it was never an issue, but I’ve heard of horror stories unfortunately.

it’s kind of funny the owners manual doesn’t tell you specifically what mileage to change the oil at, rather it’s one of those sensor type things looking for particulates in the oil, and when the oil gets dirty enough it gives you an 800 mile warning before you should have it changed, or at least that’s what the owners manual says. We just broke 6000 miles and so I suspect we’re gonna have to switch it out in the next 1500 miles or so :-) as far as how many quarts, I believe there was a technical service bulletin that resolve that but I don’t remember the details at this point.
Have a great day!

Oh I forgot to mention, the owners manual show you two things in association to the auxiliary switches. The first is each switch and what amperage its circuit will support, then it gives you a separate wiring diagram that shows the color of each wire from the switch and the color of each wire that is pre-wired within the vehicle. That’s how I knew how to identify switch three under the engine bay, and how I knew to identify the correct circuit that would go to the front of the engine. Just thought I’d mention that in case you were wondering :)

attaching ascreenshot I took from someone’s video as a reference so I didn’t have to power up each time I needed to check something. FC69E7E7-BEB5-4301-8CA3-BF4191AF5309.jpeg

Again thanks.Refreshing to get some straight answers.Wired many stereos, trailer hitches + brake controllers in older trucks. If you made a mistake just blew some fuses.Just do not want to create problems with the tech heavy bronco. My 2013 F150 had a fuse in a bag in the glove compartment that needed to be installed in power box for brakes before towing 6 pin trailers.Amazing the info you can find online. Thanks for all the good help!!!5C2321EC-9F01-4EEC-B524-76FEA8AC64A7_1_105_c.jpeg
