It appears that the Ranger base plate may work on the Broncos that do not have the HD Bumper. My question is, "Are the mount points for standard tow hooks used to mount the HD Bumper or skid plate?". No one has any available yet for the Bronco, but I am hoping to flat tow it at the end of July if it arrives by then. If I can use the ranger base plate by removing the skid plate that would work until a better option becomes available. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Everything I have seen says they can be flat towed. Somewhere on the site posted a ways back, it was verified that they are.

Yes it can be flat towed. You need a base plate to attach to the frame, and then the tow bar attaches to the baseplate. They make a base plate for the Ranger that attaches where the front tow hooks attach. The Bronco without the HD bumper looks very similar. I would have to wait for someone to develop one to used with the HD bumper unless those attachment points still exist behind the skid plate or bumper. I would more than likely need to remove the bumper and skid plate to tow using the Ranger base plate. I may be able to use Blue Ox part#BX88358 to attach directly to the hooks on the HD bumper as long as the hook opening is greater or equal to 1".
